can't upload a photo from my phone for some reason. temp-78.2F RH- 69% think the taco leaves downward is from wind burn had air purifier directly on it since it is non oscilating. thinking of alternating feeding. going back to my usual fed, water, fed schedule.

any feedback is welcomed. link is safe to click on as well it is just a discord link ( a software used mainly for gaming for socializing/sharing pics and stuff )

bought some new 7gal pots. sadly it's a different brand of fabric pots but pretty much feels and looks built the exact same way as the Gro Pro's im using. thick fabric so im hoping run off won't be a major issue. with smart pots the fabric is fairly thin but strong but this basically seems like it allows for easier run off. will be transplanting in a few days just for fucks. plants are no where near pot bound or anything just going to allow them to try and fill up the 7gals as much as possible before flipping then finish off in them.

the pots are "Dirt Pots" https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/390404674219409410/542822442792386561/20190206_114218.jpg

never used them before but lots of stores selling them here as an alternative to bigger sized fabric pots instead of smart pots. again not sure why it won't allow me to post pics from my phone. cost wise it was about $6 per pot which is expensive but bought it locally so price is average. might transplant this friday since i will also be watering on friday otherwise on sunday.

UPDATE JAN 6- i lied; transplanted em cause im an impatient mfer. roots looked nice very close to the point i would of transplanted them anyways.

some roots on the bottom of the 3gal pots - https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/390404674219409410/542838096627236864/20190206_123018.jpg

plants in their new homes 7gal Dirt Pots; kinda too tall for my liking due to my ceiling but i can drop a few inches in the future by getting rid of my pot raiser. added 1gal of water per all 3 plants rain water NO PH, 8ml voodoo juice, above the potted plants i added a layer of Myko's then put the plants ontop. will likely need more watering i doubt the 1gal did shit for the added medium. soil was fairly moist throughout the 3gals when removed at that rate they would of needed water every 2 days. will be watering again tomorrow 1gal for all 3 just to make sure the entire pots are broken into and moist 1gal for all 3 plants again and 8ml of voodoo juice again then will be alternating on a 2day watering schedule probably 1gal again. still debating on getting another watering jug so i can mix 2gals and run both or not.

All pics from the links today if you didnt want to click um due to safety reasons. plants got slightly fucked up from transplant tearing out some leaves/parts of the leaves not easy to remove the damn fabric pots.

i did notice one leaf was extremely limp and super soft. will see how they react tomorrow

literally getting hotter here winter is pretty much over for us. supposed to be raining but idk it isn't. today marks the end of week 4 of veg. idk if it's me but i didn't see much growth since yesterday could be the new pots throwing me off or they might be transplant shocked idk. they do seem to be bigger though in person.

at this rate im guessing i got about 6 more weeks of veg before i have to flip. need that cushion for the stretch in flowering and so i don't get heat stress during flowering but we will see.

UPDATE- Watered again just to make sure the entire pot was moist. 1gal rain water only NO PH. will be watering every 2 days now instead of 3 with watering on the 3rd day. i am counting the day i water as day 1 if i did not state that in the past already. likely will be on a fed, water, fed schedule to try and lower my salt build up was planing on buying a flush nutrient thingy but since it is strictly AN products they dont really carry one besides sensizyme. only non AN product i do use is myko's just for the added microrhizae as i bought a big bag and trying to get rid of it as it tends to just sit collecting dust. other then that thought plants in person are looking somewhat lighter in color. no run off as usual.

Jan 7th 5x strawberry cough by dutch passion, 1 LA SAGE CBD, 1 Pineapple Chunk ALL FEM ordered from GYO seed bank.
I've grown both the LA SAGE CBD and Pineapple Chunk freebie seeds from GYO.green. The LA SAGE CBD is low THC, little to no buzz. It was not a great strain for me, but has helped a friend with severe anxiety and pain quite a bit. I took a few clones from the LA SAGE, just to give it one more chance. I kept one clone and tossed the others. The clone looks much better than the original seed, but it did toss a few mid-flower nanners. Just spent some time last night plucking the nanners before they start shooting baby powder around. I'm not exactly sure what caused the bananas, but its either genetics, too cool temps, a pinhole light leak near that plant, or any combination of those. The Pineapple Chunk was my favorite freebie seed so far. Totally got a cheesy pineapple smell when dried and cured. Great buzz and flavor. Another unstable strain I've found from GYO.green was the Critical Sensi Star from Delicious Seeds. This girl also started tossing nanners in mid flower. I have 5 strains in mid to late flower now and both critical sensi star and LA SAGE have been shooting a few nanners. Aurora Indica, Pineapple Chunk, and Blue Widow are my other current strains that have shown no sign of being unstable.

I've grabbed three of the freebie autos from GYO, just because ive never tried autos yet. I plan to pop them tonight and toss them into my next grow. About 2-4 weeks left until grow #3 goes into the flower tent. That should be enough time to start the autos, as I've heard they can grow much faster than photos.

Good luck with testing the LA SAGE CBD. I'll try to remember to let you know how my second run with it goes after its dried and cured. I will, likely, just remove it from my future grows, as nobody I know likes smoking strains with little to no high. Regardless, I had to at least try something from the CBD trend. Couldnt complain with free!

Also, I reached out to GYO.green to complain that they havent changed out their freebie seeds strains in months, yet they claim to change them every month. They also havent had a daily deal in a week but claim to offer a new daily deal every single day. So, maybe they will have a new selection of freebies soon!! I told them I have another order ready, but i refuse to finalize my order, because I've already tried or or own every freebie from the first three tiers and have been waiting for 6 months for the freebie seeds to be changed out with different strains, per their web page claim.

If you are looking to keep them short and bushy, top them and LST them. That will make them more bushy and force lateral growth, while momentarily stunting vertical growth.

Always give your plants 2 - 4 days for recovery after any disturbance. The few roots that were pulled off during transplant, likely, redirected much of the plants energy to root repair for a moment. It happens to me with fabric pots as well. To prevent early root disturbance, I began keeping my plants in plastic pots or bags until I am ready for a 5 gallon fabric pot. Pretty much most of veg in plastic then a few weeks to a month of veg in 5 gallon fabric pots. Then I make a transfer to 10 gallon fabric.

What light are you using, what is current distance from tops, and how high up can you get your light?

im not worried really just would of expected more out of these plants but i expect them to pick up tomorrow. im running King Plus 2000watt LED it's okay i guess my first LED's only bought them due to budget at the time and i needed something fast due to my cheap ass 75W led i keep them around 18-24 inches away 18 is bare minimum but they start to get heat stressed more easily at 18 so i keep them around 21-22in so if i dont remember to raise them on a daily basis they will be fine. furthest they can go i think is around 8.5feet. so with the 2x rule i'd have to flip around 3.5' 4' im going to try and push and if i get issues with the height easily toss them outside and they get fucked during flowering as a last resort.

it's all just experimental only im going to have to quit growing in a few months i think so im not trying to invest so much money into my grows. pretty much just waiting for the damn state to legalize recreational use. likely won't be for another 5-10 years. im still going to try and grow but i mean i highly doubt i can after august

debating on watering today but soil at top feels moist. something needs to be done to the pheno 3 plant ( left ) getting way to tall for pheno 1 to catch up at that rate im going to have a super uneven canopy. middle one maybe as well.

will likely LST pheno 3 try it a new way and LST it into the dirt since this is their final home.

UPDATE- fed 1gal rain water; all supplements B52, Ancient Earth, Carboload (8ml), Voodoo Juice (8ml), Sensizyme, Sensi grow A/B ( 1ml ) rest all 2ml dropped everything down by half dosage.

still no run off. PH 6.2 water temp 76F Grow room temp 80.1F RH 56% not entirely sure why my RH is super low and on some days it's high humidity outside is 60% getting really hard to hand water so im doing my best to pull the leaves back and water but really is a struggle plus some of the leaves are just resting on the top of the soil so at this point im just like fuck it imma water the leaves. i expect the leaves laying on the soil to die had this happen before they eventually got yellow and just died off not from old age but likely from being constantly moist or idk

Bought some goodies; prices are bit expensive but i live in Hawaii and do support locally as every year more and more garden shops seem to close down so finding shit is getting harder and harder. probably will be buying bud ignitor online for sure though they are trying to sell it for 2x the price i can get on amazon lol. plus will be trying out bud factor X as well which i can't find in stores.

LST'd Pheno 3 im not a pro at LST and first time using those garden wires which i expected to be more sturdy but they are super thin so it is hard to dig um into the soil. best guess is when they grow back up in a few hours all that work would of been wasted XD.

pretty much just LST how ever i feel like. like i said i aint pro this is only my 2nd time doing LST. doing it to even out the cannopy as pheno 1 is growing much slower then this one. pheno 2 is okay not too fast but not super slow like pheno 1 is.

Neat trick for the fabric pots is safety pins for lst, stick them all around edge of pots and manuever the branches however you want.

Easy to move around as needed

works nice for those cloth pots.

Keeps everything out of the dirt

nice i haven't thought of that. so far i just see people using office clips they clip it onto the top and tie it down to the metal part. i'll go check out the store maybe tomorrow after work. i mean it's no huge deal tbh wasn't even planning to LST them but it kept bugging me that the small plant is taking forever to catch up and more then likely won't. i already predict that both pheno 3 and 2 that i LST'd will outgrow pheno 1 even though i LST'd them

Yes the office clips work well too, just bought a couple pack of those today actually.

Best of luck bud. They are looking good

I used the bigger sized safety pins all through the veg/lst on my first grow, they worked well.

whatever works

i would imagine walmart will have those clips for sure. in the school section is where i found mine.

yea i just hate going to walmart the nearest one is in the most busy part of the island it's just a shit show getting to and from. i defoliated a little of the older fan leaves to free up more space and room on the plants except the runt gonna leave as is for now. i'll post some pics tomorrow see if anyone can tell lol. expecting some stunt now for sure possibly 1-2 days only though but nothing they wont get over. plus i read in the end it helps with humidity so that is always a plus for me.

ended up using the thick wire one of the green ones came out and the thick wire works better will be replacing them if they all pop out or as they pop out. not sure what kind of wire this is but it feels just like a clothes hanger but thicker.

I cut a bunch of fan leaves on my first grow and it stunted growth a bit. I would advise against cutting any more fan leaves, but its totally your choice. Minutes after I trimmed a ton of my fans, I came across a video on youtube explaining the importance of keeping them on. Simply, those leaves are the big produces of energy for your plants. Kind of similar to our stomach, in ways. Ultimately, you may be reducing your plants ability to absorb energy and process it a little more with every fan you cut off. I first cut mine off thinking that all my flowers should get light, but removing the fans before flower was finished was a mistake. This time I haven't removed any fans and my plants seem much happier. Even when I've nute burned or wind burned some of my plants I've only clipped the burnt edges off of the leaves. So the plants could still digest the light at its sources closest to the flowers. The video mentioned that there are a few fans you could clip off, if they are obstructing a lot of growth. However, its better off to find a way to LST or provide supplemental lighting. Also, too much stress on a plant can cause it to start shooting nanners. I just found this out first hand recently. I hate wasting my time plucking nanners from two of my plants. They dont seem to have pollinated anything yet and I only have another 2 weeks or so before I chop and dry, so, not enough time for any seeds to grow if the pollen from the nanners is actually viable.
