Stealth Speaker Box, Single Plant

because I need pollen that only male plants produce in order to make seeds and with fem I only get females.

it is tough to properly dry and cure.. this is my 6th or 7th harvest and im still terrified about screwing it up.

Yeah but letting the plant go past harvest and attempt to self allows you to collect pollen before it selfs and you keep refining the fem trait. I haven't tried this but I am going to this grow. That's all based on research. Its an organic way to fem seeds so you don't need the collodial silver

yes i've heard about that, but i'd rather get a male and do it the old fashioned way, its easier plus I get to make my own strain, bubblelicious + bid bud sounds like a winner to me

What type of soil are you using for the pc ?

50% soil mix made by the local hydro shop and 50% perlite

the Big Bud seed is not popping.. its the first seed that hasnt popped for me, ever! i'll wait a few more days and then toss it. one of the bubblelicious clones will go into the speaker for a bigger grow. the reveg bubblelicious just started smelling and I missed that smell so much! overall i think it has everything i'm looking for in a plant so I decided to go with it in the speaker, this time in a big pot and massive buds! i'll save my other beans for harder times.

NL is still drying.. i'll put it in a jar later tonight and see what the hygrometer says.

That's awesome about the Bubblelicious, isn't it sweet when a strain clicks into the setup? ...even better when you dig the smoke. Big pots = big roots and plants. Can't wait to see the bubble on a screen.

yeah I cant wait as well.. the smell is really something different.. its so special that I cant even describe it. something like sour fruits.

hey was just pondering how regularly you change your CFL's?

i've heard they lose they're efficiency after only 1 grow. so i am debating changing over to a HPS.
Thought your the man to ask as this is one of a the most successful CLF grows i've seen, and nice an stealthy how i like it too.

thanks ferrit, i appreciate the kind words. the speaker had 2 full runs of 3~ months each so the NL was the second cycle with these CFLs. I heard about the efficiency loss thing but money is tight so for now i'm sticking with the same bulbs but if I have some extra cash i'll switch atleast some of the 2700's.

if you have the grow space to run a HPS I say go for it. that's what i'll be doing when I move to a new apartment.
