starting a clone cycle with only 1 tent??

if i was to start growing 10 females in a 1.2 x 2.0m tent under 2 600w mh lights for veg, and took a clone off each plant, would i need a seperate clone room?? or could i just put them into the same tent maybe 3-4 weeks behind the mums and grow them together?????

just dont kno what the best thing to do is?

at first, you can keep the clones in the same room as the mothers if you have to. keep the mothers under 24/0 lighting, preferably mh to encourage growth. for the clones, they also should be under 24/0 and cfl's are best for them, as they can get burned real easily. eventually you're going to want to flower the clones under 12/12 and unless you want to flower the mothers too, they should be in separate rooms. keeping mothers and clones separate can give you a perpetual harvest which is nice :).

basically, i'd keep them separate.

can i run them on 18/6 like a normal veg state? also do people only ever keep mothers in a veg state for cloning?

the main point of cloning is to turn one plant into lots more. you can flower the mother whenever you want to like a normal plant. people just tend to try to get as many clones out of the plant before it starts to flower by itself, regardless of the light schedule.

you can use whatever light cycle you want for the clones. some people even flower them immediately after the root. the reason I suggested 24/0 is because it'll allow it to veg/root faster so you can flower them earlier. they all work.
