I tried to add stuff to Florida but they didnt understand. I introduced a bunch of folks there to Rakim, Muddy waters and they wanted to hear Luke and 95 south. lol Most staes are great to go see just couldnt find anything in the few I listed. best i could find from Florida was the fresh seafood but you had to catch it yourself and cook it as the restaraunts held you hostage for it

for food its real reasonable and for hotels yeah. Only thing not reasonable is down town parking fees and taxes from cook county.

I will also add our gas prices suck too since we have a 69 cent gas tax per gallon but with the L, metra, taxis, and those little segways you can get around pretty easy for frr

Where is the Firehouse restaraunt?? Can get a 32 oz steak for $30 bucks with soup salad and drink pretty much anywhere..Never heard of the Firehouse though..Gibson is good, Shulas, Showless Joes,all great steak houses

Dont know it?? Id just go to maxwell street get 2 polish with carmalized onions sweet peeprs, an italian beef with provalone and sweet peppers and a drink for $10 with side of fries mmmm open 24 hours a day 365

I mean it has some bad points becuase of the mayor and his fines but if you live like 30 minutes outside of downtown then its gravy. No cook county taxes and towing nice big houses and yard then $5 bucks round trip train ticket to the lake and a return trip home while you sleep. To me its about as good as it gets. the food outstanding its just a chilled out relaxed city well except the west side that the wild wild west always lol

Gonna be downtown all weekend at the studio getting some music recorded from mya rtists and then think Ill hit the southside for Bj's catfish and hot mustard sauce some greens and mac n cheese and maybe a quick stop off at Buddy Guy's for some blues and a beer....and the entire time will be hoping all is good in Texas
