im 2 weeks into flower using biobiz nutes, just the standard veg nutes and biobloom

7 ml of veg , and 8 ml of bloom, every 2 days in 2 litres of water.

ive just seen this on the lower half of the bottom of the plant.

can anyone offer any suggestions plz ?

btw, ive NEVER watered the plant and had any run off.....

possible nutes build up ?

imo them charts can lead you down some bad roads. then best thing i ever didi was bin them and dial in my own. and learn to read my plants. best thing i ever did. ye i had a steep learning curve and still are.
what medium are you growing in also you said this started round the lower middle of the plant not new growth so dont be flushing just yet.

growin in soil , phd water 6.5 every time a little black syrup, or 'molasses' and a steady 82 temp.

im going to weaken the nutes for 2 waterings and allow plenty of run off, see what happens.

yes i agree, dont flush yet, flushing is usually more stress then the original prob. IF you used too much food in dirt then your best bet is to just water only an let the food wear off before feeding again. your in soil so there IS food in your mix.

yeh ill show you my plant, but the leaf i have shown should be enough.
a real grower can not tell anything by a leaf or two. Thats when them charts start to fuck you up. you go look at the def charts an compare that leaf and youll get 10 different possibilities. you show us that one pic of the whole plant , now we can skip the bullshit an help you out.

i was going to assume moisture probs , but now that i see the whole plant , i see a nice healthy plant that looks to be a lil more N hungry. my guess without looking into your foods is that the plant is getting enough PK but not enough N.

run off dont mean too much , but i sure dont see how you dont have any with plants that big. chances are you are lucky and your feeding just enough water to not cause no damage.

the plant is overall healthy , i could make an even more educated guess if i seen a closer pic. or i can just ask.
is ALL the yellow leaves starting on older fan leaves ? all the younger parts are probably nice an green eh ?

while i am reading up on your foods , can you tell me exactly what soil your in ? did you add anything to it ?

i am sure you have heard this before , but just in case : that girl is huge , she is gonna need a LOT of light to finish out nice. i would chop the whole bottom of the plant off if i couldnt surround that thing in light.

the last plant i did had the exact same nute dosage.

and yeh its the lower older leaves, im just gonna back off a little, say 2 ml of each per 2 litres.

see how we go, and yes she is almost 6 foot tall, but shes getting enough light, 400hps.

i am not sure about the nutes you are using but i would think feeding them every 2 days may be too much. you may have a lock up and showing a nitrogen deficiency. its hard to see the whole plant well enough, but it looks healthy from what i can see and a few lower leaves will die along the way. i am not a plant problem expert but hope any info i give may give you some ideas.

i use a soiless mix like pro-mix for a medium with fox farm nutes and feed every other watering. usually around 1/2 strength unless the plants looks hungry. i almost never have water come out the bottom of the pot when i water, but i water enough that i know its watered well and i dont have a mess to clean up from the drainage.

a 400watt light is too small for a 6 foot plant imo unless your growing vertical or lollypopping or tieing them over. here is a chart to help get an idea of the light penetration.

here is a link to have a look at some plant problems. as far as the leaves dieing off near the end of flowering being normal, starts a new disscussion. i have been able to keep alot of my leaves green right up until harvest on my last few grows. just seems better to have a nice healty plant as long as you can, and some people say its best to have the plants leaves die off near the end. but lets not start an arguement about this on your thread.

very good post smoke!

yellowing leaves is not normal , nor good for anything.

D3L , your not feeding too much or she would look much worse. it might even want a lil more, but only you can tell.

i have never seen a food with that much K in the ratio. i dont like it an its possible that all that k is blocking the n ? thats just a guess , because she is slightly N deficient.

i would try 10mls of grow an 5mls of bloom to start (2 liters or whatever you use) . its just real hard to say because there is just too much K in the grow.

either way she just wants a tad more N in her diet an those yellowing leaves will not get worse.

ive upped the N, and i think its slowed the yellowing down, but then she is in her 5th week of flower now so im gonna let her go all the way with the nutes as they are, buds have thickened now and are growing again...happy days....
