I love cats but they are wild as well. it's rare to have one that knows it's name and comes to it(although my cat simon did). I used to not like dogs as much until I got my dog but I lucked out. he was super easy to train and generally just wants to please people. all my cat's ever want is food and attention. sure miss simon though.. had him for 13 years and my moms got him put down while I was gone. he was my little smoking buddy too cause my dogs hate being around the smoke but my cat loved it. I think he just knew I was more inclined to pet him while I was high

fdd, couldn´t agree more - I HATE dogs, and so does my Siamese, Bella - she will attack any dog of any size - even those horrendous pit bull horrors run from Bella.

i like cats but they piss me off because when its crunch time there out the cat flap.

Thanks SFImage...yes i do show him and he is register with UKC and ABKC... only UKC does the Purple Ribbon... my boy in the picture has 100% Razors Edge bloodline.

and for the record.... the Gotti bloodline is bully... but when u say bully it really all comes down to a dogs body structure... a litter of 10 could be all bullies or as less as 1 bully...just like grade A bud, it all depends on GENETICS

These are my guard dogs! they are so ferocious! i do not recommend crossing our fence!(completely sarcastic) they don't have a mean bone in their body they just look like it, which keeps people out LOL!

I was being sarcastic . all the negativity towards a breed of animal is ridiculous.

It's funny. my mom used to HATE pit bulls and thought they were a horrible breed. kicked me out when I got my puppy 5 years ago. now she has her own pitbull and wants my dog to come over and play as much as possible. I can see how when pits are bad dogs they are scary. but once you meet a well-socialized one like mine that has always been around people and never been beat or fucked with, you realize they are probably one of the most least human aggressive dogs there is. my dog wont even play tug-of-war with me because he thinks he's gonna hurt my hand or something. if he jumps up on me and I say "oww!" he immediately jumps down and trys to apologize by licking my hand and acting all sad. he generally just wants to make people happy..

why do dog owners insist upon downplaying the dangers of the animals they own? this is how people end up getting hurt.

i have been bitten more than once and heard "he's never done that before".

I have been bitten 3 times by pitbulls. all of them were sketchy though. none were my dogs or act anything like my dogs. but I've seen golden retrievers and lab's fuck more people up than pitbulls just cause people never expect those dogs to be crazy. my freinds all have these australian shepard mix's that are ADORABLE but will bite the fuck out of little kids. whenever we are out BBQing in the park or something people always tell their kids not to touch my dog and to pet the cute little orange ones. too bad the little orange ones are the assholes that nip at kids. if my dog so much as acted like he was gonna bite a kid he would be shot by the redding police cause they hate pitbulls cause there are soooo many tweakers around here that have shitty retarded, beat up ones. but since the cute little dogs the one bitting they hardly ever get in trouble. little fuckers draw blood when they bite me too. I'll get a pic.



See. this dog is one of the best trained dogs I know but for some reason hates kids and will bite at them if they fuck with him. they even try to attack if you run up to give there owners a high 5 or something! my pitbull on the other hand will let little kids pull on his ears and punch him and either just take it or walk away. not a mean bone in his body unless he's inside the house or yard and strangers show up..


Either way it's a thread for people who like dogs. if you don't like dogs and think they are all dangerous what's the point of posting in this thread? cause you aren't gonna convince any dog owners to stop liking dogs because you think they are dangerous. besides I had a cat try to jump on my couch when I was shirtless and it missed the part of the couch it was trying to jump too and tried to grab onto me for dear life and it scratched the SHIT out of me. like all over my body. it was a worse experiance than any time I'd been bit by a dog. I still love kitties though!

Hah I can relate. When I called my mom to tell her I got my first pit she just groaned and asked why the hell would I do that? She finally got to meet him after a couple years and was blown away with how well trained and well behaved he was.
When I raised him as a pup I made absolute sure to put him in as many different environments with as many different people as possible. From kids to old folk.
I didn't know anyone with children at the time so I went door to door, explaining my situation. how I wanted to raise my dog, how I wanted to get him used too things he wouldn't always be exposed too (In highly controlled situations). In the end I managed to change a few peoples opinions about the breed and the kind of people who own them. You get use to being judged when you own a pitbull. So in return you have to go above and beyond in raising them.


To FDD: If he ever bit a human he would get put down. Any of my dogs. I love em and it would break my heart but manbiters get culled.
My girl has a cat, it's a fucking cunt. The thing will sit in it's tower glaring at everything and take swipes at you as you walk by. When it gets tired of being pet it bites the shit out of your hand. Not my favorite but I admire it's spunk hah.

I love the above post. this is true...this thread is for ppl whol ove dogs....it sucks when you have a nice thread going and ppl who just want to argue come in and take the attention off what the thread is about and put the spotlight on themselfs..no one is down playing how dangerous thier dogs are. im sure they know thier own dogs better then you do. i have had all kinds of pets, including a 7 ft boa. ppl talk shit about her all the time. when they have never even owned a snake. almost anything has the potental to be dangerous, if you abuse it or misuse it...if i felt there was a danger that was more then with any other house pet, i wouldnt keep the dog no matter what breed it was. pit bulls have gotten a bad rap in part because of the shitty ass owners that keep pits cause they are "bad Ass" and have an ego trip. both my dogs have good blood lines that were bred to be family dogs. any dog with a bad temp was not bred for atleast 9 gens back. i know the breeders and i know thier dogs! now if anybody has anything more to say on this debate plz post our last comments and then let us get back to the dogs. im not trying to have the last word(in fact i dont even want to talk about it at all)so have your last say. plz dont make me regret this thread. these are all beautiful animals(the cats too). and i would love to see more. i just hate the argument and would rather not look hear anymore then to continue to have to respond to these comments! peace to all of you and my your day be bright!!!

I know that pain. I have had to put down my fair share of pets. As George Carlin said, they are "little tragedies waiting to happen". Just last month I had to put down my old man, Sinbad. I had him for 17 years. Still get choked up over him.

Thats why i stoped posting, tired of being told im wrong in the rudest remark possible.
And im sorry. i was completly wrong, my step dad reimvormed me that gotti IS indeed a pitbull.
But NOT a bully. There is bully gotties but not 8 ball. His body struckure is athetic, not fat.
not a huge head, fits his body. Perfact block almost. with an 45 degree ear crop. but that was because we got his ears clipped
in some other county were 45s were legel. Did not know la countys laws said no. But as far as i know about gottis, is its a complety dormatized pitbull line. it was breed to get the agresive out of the pitbull but still keep the loyal pit that still love his/her human so much. And still the high respect level. They are commenly not refered as pitbulls because they act complety diffrent.
