so today im givin this kid a bag and he gives me 8 1 dollar bills and a 2 dollar bill haha..i didnt really care, because this 2 dollar bill looked rare to me..so after it all i count up the money..look at the dollar bills (hate getting singles by the way) and see that they are blue coated instead of the traditional green and i look at the bill examine it..put it up to a light..no barcode..im thinking i just got scammed with counterfeited money? but i figure out that on the top of the bill it says Silver Certificate so i go to try it at Subway and the person there working was like sketched out by it and didnt take it..so i come home tonight and google this shit and figure out its an actual bill called the silver certificate..its not counter-feited..im just not sure how much its worth? and what i should say if places around here dont want to take it?
these bills are all in Good condition..i texted the kid later and asked him if he gave me counterfeited money and he said no..that it was just old dollars that were in really good shape.
there are like 4 of them and i get 4 for lunch so i will just switch 4 of the bills my moms gives me tomorrow with these 4 silver certifcates and use them tomorrow at school during lunch haha
