Hey guys!
I hate to add another post in the tons of these already but honestly I’m confused.

I’m pretty sure my plant is ready to harvest, but I can NOT tell for the life of me! I can see what I think are amber/brown trichomes with my naked eye.
When I look with a loupe I see amber as well but no cloudy. I believe what I’m seeing is clear and amber trichomes. This will be my first ever harvest and I’m just stumped.
I’ve done lots of reading and I’m confident that I can tell a “done” plant. My buddy has some outdoor plants and they’re for sure done. I took a clone off of one of those in August and it’s looking done (pistils receded, seems to be done with bulking, leaves dying)
I’m just so confused why I’m not noticing cloudy trichs. Maybe I’m seeing them wrong (totally possible) or it’s just not ready.
I think it is though..

Pics of the trichomes would be helpful but they look small from what I can see. You may have a bit to go. Cant tell without the close ups.

I just ran out to try and get some pics! I’ll try again in the morning, I didnt want the light on em too long. I do see a few cloudy and amber I believe in the pics, it’s just hard for me to see them (need me some glasses)

They are close start flushing soon if not already. Keep checking daily till desired result and harvest. Also lower buds will be behind maturity of upper buds so you may want to harvest upper and leave lower till they are ready as well.

I’ve just been letting the rain water them, never have nutes or anything. It’s rained a lot the past week so I’m sure it’s flushed out. Honestly not too worried about flush but if I can start harvesting tomorrow I will!!
Are you seeing cloudys by the way? I thought I saw some when taking pictures but it’s so damn hard to tell

I hope your covering the plant with clear plastic during the rain so the buds aren't getting wet. Good chance of mold and bud rotting.

It’s been under a glass table, I check it often and knock the water off. At night I cover it in a plastic bag.
For next season I’m buying a greenhouse for sure..

Thanks for all the responses guys! I think I’ll start flushing when the soil dries out a bit and wait at least a week.
