Shake..

There have been at least 3 threads this week on shake/trim

Yes, that's a good price. You will pay anywhere between $35 and $85 for a half o of shake over here, but it's just as viable as bud in some cases. If it's going to be shake, It may as well be good shake.

I use it to make butter, looking at doing a dry ice kief extraction when I get some proper bags.

i like shake for rolling joints and packing quick snapper bowls in the bong..
it gives me a chance to save the "nice nugs" for another day

well it is still bud. 20 a gram for shake or bud if it ends up shake thats your deal. as long as the shake isnt low grade im fine with it. i save the best for last. maybe it should be cheaper because it isnt full bud. one hitters and topping off bowls. its green and smokable and hopfuly shines. its all good.

Sometimes the shake is almost all kief/ hairs, sometimes it's bullshit, leafy crumbs, so I always inspect it good.
I drop clones off at the dispensary, I've been known to grab a few grams when it's from a good strain.

it saves me from chopn/grinding it. shakes good, it has all the trichies that fall off the budz...

i have no problems with shake, usually toss it in a dry bowl or blunt but i never buy shake thats full of stems, its gotta be mostly bud, and its usually 10-15 a g around me.

I make honey oil out of our popcorn and shake. Its good for about 40-50g of oil every month.

To calculate a price that its worth oil-wise, I'd figure out what it cost to make 10g of oil out of that shake, and then I'd have an idea what its worth......... I sell oil for $50/g here, and thats wholesale, since there are very few oil makers (in fact, none, that I know of) anywhere near here..........

shake is ok. i'd rather not if i have the choice. i've never purchased it though. most people i know who sell shake try to pass it off as a bag of weed for the same price as the rest of the stash.

i just go through my trim bucket for little nugs when i run out. it's way more popcorn than leaf.

i won't smoke leaf. there's nothing that can be done to make it not burn my throat so fuck that stuff.

if its brand new then yeah id say 40 is fair, but if its used go for like 20-25

I'm not sure what your definition of shake is, but around here it is usually referred to as "bottom of the bag" kind of stuff. That could be all leaf, or almost all bud. A lot of people dont enjoy buying leaf, so it goes very cheap. I would just stick with buying big dense nugs.

Actually I think its worth more then forty. The head shops around here ask ridiculous prices for custom glass pipes, bubblers and bongs. I could see up to a 75 dollar price tag on that. forty bucks is a nice deal.
