go to your local restore and buy cheap plywood... if you have a jigsaw its really easy to make nice circle for your exhaust and intake, you can get really cheap mylar with emergency blanket to cover the plywood... the other day I found a pack of 2 on ebay for like 10-15$ including express shipping.

lol... yeah I don't know why you'd use MDF, that shit does not like water at all...

Go buy some Chip/press board or cheap ass ply-wood.

Or you could buy a small tent from gotham hydro for $58.

Perfect size man don't even trip most u would want to go wih that ligh is 2x3 space so no worries. You will get a nice yield off a 3 gallon pot or fuck it do a five gallon you will probably pull close to an ounce a gallon of medium in a soil grow.
Just got my light today. Ya i know HoodDro, i have a 6"inline fan and charcoal filter but thats overkill for this and will also not be stealth which is what i need at the moment. Kaptain, thanks for all your help. I am going to run a oscillating 6" fan inside, should i still run one pc fan intake and one exhaust or passive intake with oscillating fan and 2 exhaust? Sorry for all the questions. I decided to build my own cab, went to lowes today and got some 2x2's and MDF. I'm going to line the inside with reflective mylar. I'll scrog i guess haha..i'm just being impatient with the veg time involved but i think my yield will be so much better if i let it fill a screen. My cab is going to be soooo small i'm nervous. 21" wide, 19" deep, and 4 feet high. I don't even know if I'm thinking logically with such a small space....

Mdf sucks balls use that six inch fan ya got go look at the thread in my sig u will see pics of my led can I built a box wih an air floor air flows in from floor through a vent in the side and then flows up through he canopy and out the top plants will be lovin that six inch fan so overkill but who cares. Need more stealth since u got an oscillating fan run dual 120mm comp fan exhaust but it's harder to seal for light leak than a six inch inline would be.

I built my cab using panda film and 2x3s spent a total Of sixteen bucks on wood and twenty on panda cheapest booh u can make to any size u want

Kaptain you are a hero hahah. I spent way toooo much money on this stupid little box already. I have the 2 pc fan's and the LED light but no box made yet. The mdf is sitting here just in pieces like it was when i bought it. I tried to cut one piece, went back and got a different blade and it still blows and won't cut. I am thinking of going and picking up some plywood tomorrow although i know it is more expensive. I just wanna start growing already!!! I know the 6" fan would be ideal but its too loud and i already have the two pc fan's with a wall plug so I'm good to go. But... we will see the grow cab is still up in the air but i am thinking plywood as of today

2x3s are 1.50 for 8ft and u can build a skeleton and wrap with panda film. Pandas 2o bucks and wood is like 16-20 depending how big u wanna go u don't need solid walls I don't think do u??

Unless I was in light controlled room I think solid walls would be fairly important for light leaks

Um lol do u even know what panda film is bro? How is a solid wall going to help more with light leak. *sigh* :(

I'll take solid walls over panda film hanging on a frame. I guess you could get a gram with that $10 you saved on skipping the walls eh? Rock on BRO. Fuck why even build a frame, just throw the film over your plant like a blanket, its bound to work. That way when your mom is about to bust you, you can swoop it up like santa with a sack of toys as you jump out the window!

You have no idea what your talking about, talking out your ass do u know how much ply wood costs bro? It's fuckin expensive not everyone has the money to run that shit and besides what the fuck is the point it's an unneccesary waste of money. Fuckin totally pointless if I'm going to go buy plywood I'm building a fuckin room not a fuckin cab, who wastes that kind of money to build a tiny ass box out of something that can attract mold and mildew. If your gonna spend that much go buy a cab online pre made. Oh wait u would t wanna do that because its mylar over a frame.... Fuckkn wow lol

I don't let it bother me, I deal with people like kaptain every day. He's the guy that will interrupt any conversation because you're either wrong or he has a similar yet better story. I personally know 2 people like him, I see them as little as possible. Lol

Here are some pics of the cab, its still not totally done. Still have to caulk, cut holes for fans, and get a latch for a lock.

Well THANKS for all the info!! I ordered (2) 120mm pc fans last night, now I'm wondering if i should use 2 for exhaust or 1 for intake and 1 for exhaust. The cab i think i will be using is 37 inches high. I will be getting indica clones since sativas won't be as bushy and compact. Light comes tomorrow I can't fricken wait .
I'd go 2 exhaust, 1 passive intake for a cab that size.... and 120mm fans don't move that much air, so to ensure you have negative pressure I'd go both as exhaust.
