Seed growing out of soil?

I put my seeds into the soil about 2 or 3 days ago and now one of my seeds has sprouted and the seed has grown up with the start of the plant and is now out of the soil. The main root is still in the soil and i assume growing.... what should i do about my seed??

um. if your talking about the shell of the seed is stuck to the seedling then that's no problem. its just that, a shell that contains all the goodies to start the plant, once the plant starts growing its useless... i'm kinda confused about what your talking about tho.

Its wearing its helmet.. it should fall off, but after a couple of days remove gently if hasn't........

Yea the seed just looks sort of stuck to the side of the plant thanks a lot for the help, but i am very glad to hear that thats normal lol only 3 of my seeds germinated so these need to grow right and im hoping for girls.
