Seed Germination Issue. Advice Needed. +rep

Recently tried to germinate 45 seeds. 5 Barneys Farm Violater Kush, 10 Greenhouse seeds Alaskan Ice, and 30 Greenhouse Seeds Big Bang. All of these were feminized so they did cost a lot. However, when germinated using the paper towel method all of them germinated except 11 of the Big Bangs did not, when all the others did using the same method. It has been about a week now so i think it is safe to say they are done.
Has anyone had any issues with this before. They were all ordered from the Attitude and I have had numerous orders from them and none of the previous orders have had germination problems like this. I have used Big Bang before and never had issues like this using the same methods.

I was wondering if I should contact Attitude. Has anyone else every done this and got another order shipped to them for free. Those 11 seeds not germing cost me a decent amount so I want to figure out what I should do. + rep

Since all of the others did well I assume you did everything right. Give them a little longer though. I just germed 2 ak48's from Nirvana, same method paper towel damp in a ziplock over something warm. One split in the normal day and a half, I damn near wrote the other off after a week of nothing. Sure enough a week and two days she split! Give them a little longer if nothing happens it doesn't hurt to make a polite phone call.

Attitude will not respond if u say anything about germination. They are sold as sovegnier only.. Have u tried a very light scrub with sand paper? Smallest grit possible. I have heard alot of probs with Greenhouse seeds. I have had good luck, but others will say, thats why I dont buy from GHSC. Sorry dude good luck with the rest...

idk what you are looking for as an answer, but I will tell you I dont use paper towl or soke in water anymore. Get some plastic planting containers that come in 6 packs and such fill them with fox farm ocean forest soil keep moist and sprout under a floro. I have had the best luck with this method for seed to dirt. Now It does sound like you got a few bad seeds in the batch seeing how the rest germinated. I thought that was the answer you were looking for(that yarddog35 gave) but since you bumped maybe you are looking for a different method of germination. If you are asking if you should contact them I would see how far it gets you, whats the worst thing that could happen they say no or nuthing at all. worth a try

so what the hell, lightly shave seed edge
next day white barely shows
2 more days, white taproot moves just enough to notice
afraid it's going to rot, so into the towels
took another week to see enough tap root to plant
took over 14 days from start to get sprout above soil
growing it now and looking fine

I just start them in the ff of soil and in a week the green shoots are all poped out.

I've used rooting hormone to give me seeds a little kick. Still do the scare method and pre-soaking like others suggested, just when you pre-soak, add a liberal amount of rooting hormone to the mix.

yeh totaly put them in a pot an forget about them for a few days or so, then one day you will see them and they will be out of the dirt... work for me . because I always get excited and impatient..

well i dout anyone will back me on this way but i got a group of plants right now that i grew from seed but when i grem them they would not pop waited like a week nothing. what i did is took seed and crack it open took the shell off then grem the lil seedling took 2 days and i had 2in baby and if u dont dmg the seedling they will grow fine. if u seed's are wet MAKE SURE U KEEP THE SEEDLING WET! cant let it dry out

sorry about your lost man, but it happens. i got rolled from nirvana through worldwidemarijuanaseeds.com for 30 Wonderwoman regular seeds. The 5 other genetics germed great and are flowering as we speak. i would see it to be more of a breeder problem than the distributer.....

soak seeds until they sink. plant directly in the dirt with a dab of juicey roots (from advanced nutrients) and place on a heat mat. inna week your babies will be born, with a very good root structure I might add.
