I purge in thin films and watch the solvent bubbles. It typically takes me an hour, but less than two for that purge level, which produces a shatter.

it's hardest to get that very last bit out and vacuum helps for sure. if you put it between parchment paper, flattened it out as much as possible with rolling pit, then just let it sit out for a while and maybe that last bit will dry out of there.
It is pretty dang sticky and gooey or is your extract on the stiff or hard side?

I had some like that and after flattening out very very thin and vacuuming another hr with 115F then letting it sit out all flat overnight, it didn't crackle or spark.
probably around .5mmMight work for you.

What was vacuum level, how much heat, and how thin was the puddle?

Loss of weight can easily be from transferring or playing with it, maybe lose a bit. Also easy to lose weight from vacuuming from a long period with heat, but that should mainly be butane, some moisture maybe...not positive as i don't really weigh my product in between multiple vacs.

lol. it can be fun to weigh oil initially between vacs.
if im eager/ curious to see what my final weight will be , on my normal bhos runs, i will vacuum till i get muffin, then weigh that muffin, then subtract 10% weight from that to get a rough estimate of final weight..

Unvaporized longer chained hydrocarbons.
It could mean that you are dabbing on too much oil or not heating the nail hot enough. It probably means that you haven't winterized to take the plant waxes out and some are left behind on the nail.
I periodically clean my nail by heating above 750F, and turning all the residue to C02, water vapor, and a light grey ash, like is done in self cleaning ovens.
