sativa to indica ratio? help please

Okay so not a dire need just something that's bugging me that I can't figure out. My question is about how to figure out what your percetage breakdown will be when cross breeding strains with different sativa to indica ratio's in their genetic make up. Say you have a triple crossed strain you're developing and each of P1 (parent plants)has different %. Strain a is 10% indica 90% sativa. Strain b is 30% indica and 70% sativa. And finally strain c is 100% indica. And you genetically cross these strains what will be the resulting % for the F1(first gen plant) be? I couldn't figure this out and anyone who can would be doing me a huge favor, if they'd Explain how to figure this equation out...

F1 is 60 % Indica % 40 % Sativa

I don't really understand how you come to an F1 generation using 3 different strains. It will take at least 2 crosses to incorporate all the strains. Also, how you cross the strains together will change the linage differently. The way I always figure it is that each genetic parent supplies 1/2 of the genetics so a 100% sativa would add 50% sativa to the mix. Each cross will change the overall sativa/indica % but it's only an estimate because different phenotypes will have diferent amounts of indica or sativa properties some could even be pure sativas in a 75% indica strain.

Thanks for the replies guys, um pipe dreams I always though the first cross you do between any orgsmnism in the consideration of genetics was an F1. Andso I assumed that my resulting plant 2would be an f1. So since I was wrong then would it be considered an f2? I guess I'm still a little confussed on how mr.ganja arrived at the result being a 60% indica x 40%sativa. Man playing at being a genetisist is really no all that easy.

you have to roll 3 dice, add that number. then subtract that by 6, roll the dice a second time.. . while flipping a coil with the other hand, if its heads you add 10 to that total number and if its tails you take away 10. that will be your sativa %

and you were correct. Ignore the amateurs.
You half the Indica & Sativas ratios of each parent and total them for the offspring of each cross.
