yup they are :D sugar-water + yeast for the extra CO2.

hmmm let me see... Homebox, 400w HPS with ballast and reflector, carbon filter, extractor fan, digital thermometer/hygrometer, electronic timer, small fan, electronic pH tester... about 1'000 bucks.
Lol I think I will stick to the closet grows for now. Until I build my bud game up

Well if done properly, there's nothing wrong with a closet grow! just don't forget about ventilation.

probably the most expensive unit was the Homebox at about 350 bucks.

You could make your own for a lot less though. I might to do so for my upcoming vegging/cloning room.

Well for a while i though growth had slowed down, but now i can definitely see the "budlets" and A LOT of pistils!

The Bubblegums especially are doing great! The NLX on the other hand are going through something bizarre. Some of the leaves are turning paler green in a weird way (check 4th pic). Obviously it's not a Mg o Mn def as i previously thought. Perhaps they still need and extra dose of N? hmm...

I just watered them today so they're all happy and perky :weed:

Can I get a pic of the filter and fan setup. A couple of pics would be even better. I am waiting on my HomeBox L right now and need to get the right inline fan and carbon filter. What kind did you go with?working good? Thanks bud....
You'll love the Homebox L! my only regret was that I didn't get the XL.

I'm not sure what the brand is (doesn't really matter for these accessories) but it's a 6" inline fan that moves about 260 CFM (cubic feet per minute).

Notice that i have a layer of carbon pre-filter around the filter itself. This increases odor reduction and filters out dust, etc. I have to say I'm extremely impressed with the effectiveness of the carbon filter. My Homebox is in my bedroom and I don't smell anything outside of it. I have the duct tube blowing air out near the window. This also keeps cool fresh air coming in. Under a 400w HPS in the Homebox L you'll definitely want some cool air coming in.

I also added a small clip-fan to my Homebox to keep air moving within the grow room so that more CO2 is made available to the leaves, as well as to rip and toughen up those stems.

Hope you find my pics helpful. If not, let me know and i'll take some better pics tomorrow.

mate i will buy 360m3 extractor for homebox XL and 600 w hps with cooltube.
are you happy with your extractor ?

That sounds like a good size fan; especially for the 600w HPS. It can get pretty hot in the Homebox if the ventilation isn't proper. And good thing you have a cooltube!

are you getting a carbon filter as well?

sure ,i will carb filter in this week.
my cooltube is 125mm so i have to find 125mm faN and 125 mm carbon filter to match each other.

i hope 360 m3 is enough for 600 watt hps with cooltube.
if not,i am screwed

it's been 34 days since I switched to 12/12, and 25 days since budding began.

The NLX plants are still exhibiting some weird symptoms on the larger fan leaves; even after I flushed them and fed them. I'm not going to worry too much, as this hasn't inhibited growth and the buds are looking good.

Here's a pic of one of the NLX:

yes they are, but to be honest they don't feel very safe/reliable. Once this grow is done i'll switch to metal chains or bungee cords.

I've added a few make-shift CO2 releasers (sugar-water + yeast) from empty water bottles.
plase give more explanation ? is it work ?how did you do that ?
and where do you make your clones ?do you have '' vegging moms '' so that you can take clones from them ?
I noticed that the NLX plants appear to be having a bit of a Magnesium deficiency, so i'll add a touch of molasses to their water. Note that I only use molasses when needed for its mineral conent (like Mg) and not for adding sugars to the soil which CANNOT work in a non-organic grow like mine.

how can you know that ?

it's simple: the yeast cells ferment the sugar in the water producing ethanol and CO2.

I can't confirm if it makes a difference (everything else has to be 100%) but I'm sure it doesn't hurt either.

I fill the bottle 2/3 with water, then add 3 tablespoons if white sugar (easier to dissolve in room temperature water) then add 1 teaspoon of yeast powder. Adding too much yeast just means you'll have to replace the bottle sooner. I rinse it and repeat every week.

I now just use one 2 litre bottle and place it under the small circulation fan.

As for the molasses, the sugars are food for the bacteria and fungus (microherd) and not the plant itself. The plant actually produces it's own sugars. In an organic grow, the sugars in molasses will feed the microherd which in turn will break down materials and make them available for the plant to uptake.

In reality you never actually "feed" a plant. You just make sure they have everything they need to produce their own food.

Thanks dude!

I'm quite pleased with my first grow so far. Just a few more weeks 'til harvest...

Yours however is on another level :D

thanks mate i did a search and i found out co2 that emit from yeast powder would work !
and please tell me ,what kind of molasses do you use for magnesium deficiency ? i read that epsom salt should be used for mg deficiency but i cant find it in my country :(
does molasses really work ?please give me more explanation about molasses and if you make it,please explain how you did molasses for me.and if you buy it,give me a link for sample .
(or, is molasses simple ?only white sugar and water =molasses ? )
sorry i am very newbie

and where do you make your clones ?do you always put a few moms under vegging all the time so that you can get clones from them ?
thanks you for your help my friend.
