sandmonkey's 1st grow: NLX and BubbleGum

I put about 3 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of yeast.

I fill the bottle about 3/4 with water; allowing space for any foam that is produced in the bottle.

Already preparing for the big harvest and my next grow... went a lil' crazy shopping :weed:

Decided to go organic from my next grow on.

BioBizz really appealed to me because they're OMRI certified and easily available here in Europe. I also picked up some Advanced Nutrients Piranha and Tarantula (not pictured) to bring life to the soil.

Also picked up some feminized seeds: 10x Flo and 5x Warlock, though I think i'll save those for my 3rd grow and experiment with organics on some more clones.

hay man nice grow. i'm gonna use bio-izz on my next time round so ill be watching ur next grow aswel, when u gonna start the bio-bizz grow?

that fish mix stinks man, it's mostly used outdoors but can be used indoors when heavily diluted as a foliar spray to boost growth in cuttings and vegetative stage plants, so keep a peg handy for ur nose lol.

u gonna be useing bio-bizz soil?:weed:

if u goto http://www.biobizz.nl/downloads and go to Product growth schedule click on the english pdf and it gives u the feeding schedule, but u prob alredy got this with the nuts lol

good look man keep us posted +rep:clap:

thanks dude!

Yeah the fish-mix is nasty, but to be honest that's what I like about it :weed: organic goodness. My current Canna chem's have almost no smell which is a turn-off for me.

I'm hoping to start once my current grow is harvested, so maybe in 2 weeks. I really wanted to start with the seeds I purchased, but to get some organic experience I'll be growing from clones (maybe AK-47) and experimenting with the different BioBizz products. Like for example with and without Fish Mix, Alg-a-Mic. I heard the fish-mix would be good since I really want a microherd in my soil. I'll be doing 9 clones so I can do 3 without Fish-Mix, 3 without Alg-a-Mic, and 3 without either. We'll see if there's any difference in performance ;-)

I actually wanted to use the BioBizz Light mix soil but they don't carry their soils here, so i'll just use my current Janeco Light Mix. With the AN Piranha and Tarantula I should have a good organic medium.

So keep watching this journal and i'll let you know when the organic goodness starts :D

Nice to see I'm not the only fan of Bio Bizz!

I think it's more common in europe, as not many people on here use B Bizz nutes.

Just a tip mate, if your looking for a high yield then you will need to use a bloom booster of some sort, as although Top Max is ok, it doesn't quite cut the mustard. In terms of oils and taste you can't get much better than B Bizz tho IMO.

I use House and Garden Shooting Powder for that extra weight.

Oh and by the way, Flo is lovely, enjoy:weed:

Yeah it doesn't seem to be too big in the US.

And thanks for the tip on bloom nutes. While yield isn't a priority, it would be nice to have some weight at the end ;-)

I'll also be using molasses for my organic grows as I'll have the microherd necessary to break it down and supply the plant with more carbs. But i'll also look into another organic bloom booster. Perhpas something from Advanced Nutrients?

Oh yeah i'm really excited about the Flo just as much as the Warlock. At the shop I hesitated between Blueberry, Flo, Strawberry Cough, and Warlock. Think I made a good choice :weed:

But to be honest I don't want to experiment with such good genetics on my first organic try, so i'm probably gonna get 9 clones of AK-47 or maybe 5 AK's and 4 Bubblegum again to compare differences with my current non-organic grow.

well, today marks 47 days of flowering so hopefully no more than 5 to 10 days left. I'll flush in 2 days...

that's awesome!

decided to chop a few Bubblegum branches off one plant in a few hours right before lights come on. Hey, I'm dry! besides, this way some of the lower buds can catch up.

The rest are hopefully getting chopped in no longer than 5-7 days. Exciting times

...and by the way I love your signature :)

Though I believe that freedom can never exist since we are all prisoners of our physical shells.

back on topic, I quick dried some NLX buds from a broken brunch. Nat bad at all! Though I know see why a proper dry and cure are essential to good douja.

hi mate

i will use biobizz,too.. i heard you will be fine by using only grow and bloom.but i bought bloom, groww, root juice and topmax lol:

but i read fish mix for outdoor usage and it smells like fish !

heaven does nothing but make taste good

and again i read another forum that algamic may damage the plants,so be careful and read reviews about biobizz before use.

and a question;

how big your pots and how many times do you transplant ?

thanks mate and good lucks

Yeah you would be fine with just the grow and bloom. but we want more than just fine LOL

the Fish-Mix really stinks, but I think i'll mix it with the Grow. I'm sure the microherd from the AN products will love it!

That's way for my next grow I'll be doing 9 clones of the same strain from the same mom, so I can experiment with the different products. I'm not a commercial grower, so quality comes before quantity. However i might also use Canna Bio Boost and a bit of PK 13/14 if needed for that extra push.

I used 6 liter pots from the beginning when i transplanted the clones and haven't transplanted. But i'll definitely use a bigger pot from the beginning next time.

did you use 6 lt pots for during all flowering stage till harvest ?

i read 11L pots are ideal but i have no idea cuzz i havent begun growing yet

:)

sandmonkey

yeah a bigger pot would have been ideal, especially since i let my clones veg for too long given the available space.

If you're doing a SOG type grow (many small plants) then 6L pots are fine, but i want fewer, larger plants so next time i'll be using 12L.

Hey, i'm new at growing too. we learn from experience and our mistakes :)
