Rootech gives the fastest results from my experience. Clonex would be my second pick. Powders are waste of time and money unless you just cant get a gel.

What kind of medium are you pro-powder guys using? I've used rapid rooters and jiffy pellets with powders and had very poor results. When using gels with the same mediums I get close to 100% success. I think the gel seals the cut end from air preventing embolisms. I've also noticed that with the gels the stalks get all fat and lumpy wherever the gel touches them. When I see the fat lumpy stalks its always an indication that roots are about to pop out.

i use soil. cut my clone, cut the top leaves in half, dip the bottom of the stem into some water then dip that into the stim-root, covering the bottom 1cm of the root, then i pop it directly into the soaking wet soil and press it firmly in place. keep it in a humid dome for 7 days, misting 3-5 times a day then its to veg and flowering. i say, find a method that works for you and stick with it. if gels are your thing then keep it rollin. whatever works.

Rapid rooters! I love those things unless I'm using a flood table then I clone right in the rock wool cubes, never had a problem with powder or either of these media.
