PICTURE TIME!!!!

am I the only one that thinks this lizard looks scary/mean as hell.

yea he might look a little scary but hes really cool and calm. knock on wood, hes never been aggresive towards me or ever try to bite. lots of times when hes hangin out on my lap getting petted he'll put his head down, close his eyes and take a nap. i let him, let me know if he wants to be held petted and wat not. lots of times he just wants to explore and walk around.

however, when food is presented to him, he does get a lil agressive, and moves really fast. thats a known...personality with tegus or maybe monitors too.
i just put the food dish down in the corner of my room, take him out of his cage and point him in the direction, from there he finds it.

I figured you wouldnt blow the smoke directly in their face, but I might as well ask.

Been buggin mom all day about this, and I think she has already lost interest. Dad said I cant have one while living here, but dads opinion can usually change once mom talks to him.

This is amazing guys, I'm truly inspired by these pictures...I NEVER thought I would get interested in reps...ALWAYS thought they were scary and mean.

I dont have any reps now..but i did have a Beardie, a Northern Pinesnake, a banana phase King Snake and a mentaly retarded homicidal Gold Tegu(worst pet ever)....i miss the shit outa my dragon.

Nice Reps everyone!

im thinking about setting up my fish tank at the moment. i already have the wetdry filter and a tank. going to go salt reef on this one. i had a mainly salt fish tank and dabbled in many species: lion fish, dogface puffer, few triggers, wrase, panther grouper...but im looking for a more calmer tank this time. snab some nice coral frags and hermits and some little fish. looks like im going to need a few things. prb going to grab a protein skimmer and possibly this light http://www.aquatraders.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=54244 nice little mh :)

sum pic of jada from today, feeding and pics of my holdin, or tryin he kept squirming and wantin to explore the room again.

ps had a bunch of my snowboard gear out and just slapped on the mask...no face shots

So, I've been lookin around...

Is it better to order one online? Opposed to going to say petco?

They are like 250 online compared to around 90 at the pet store.

Is there a difference in quality? What would you recommend?

there is a difference in quality of the chams life and the breed. petco only sells veiled, witch are more oftenly violent and dont like to be handled. panther is wat i have they r much more nice and more colorful too. check out screameleons online and dont be shy to drop a good 200, obama was 250 for him.

id go to an reptile expo or a good well know reptile pet store or a good online breeder...i see lots of reps at pet stores that look like they are about to die, or have mdb or mbd(lack of calcium )...at an expo u have ALOT of animals to choose from, lots of equipment, u can talk to the breeders, ask about wat they've been eating, how they've been kept. lots of times u can see the parents too. this will make the transition from one keeper to the other easyer for u and the animal.

but thats just me.
