So, I've decided to do a test grow of some CBD autos using the new Timber Magnolia.
Using 365 BioBloom as growing media.
Will be running 19 on 5 off, with 1000 ppm co2 with room at ambientView attachment 5147576 temperature.
Strains are CBD Crew Med Gom and Sweet Seeds Sweet Nurse.
Seedlings are currently under 350 watts of light at 24 inches.
Will post periodic updates
UPDATE
These photos are at the end of week three from sprouting. Noticed a little nitrogen deficiency with the CBD Crew Med Gom. So, I hit it today with a small dose of Recharge. I find that stuff lives up to its name.
I started out at 350 watts at 24 inches. I've upped the wattage by 50 watts per week and now about 21 inches from the light. Co2 averages around 1200 ppm. Flowering should start within the next week at which time I'm going to bump up the light output to 600 watts.
Just as an aside, I purchased these seeds in late 2017. They have been stored in cool dry area. I'll be interested to see what kind of production I get from them. I'm intentionally minimizing nutrients to see how the 365 BioBloom performs. My expectation is that I will exceed the breeder's specified suggested yield. I may do some LST to help with that. Will update at the end of week six. Start to finish, this grow should take no longer than 10 weeks.

Hi @race winslow

Glad to see the lights got to you and are working out ok so far. The plants look great - nice and bushy, no indication the additional 660nM is having any profound stretching effects, which is always good to see in situ.

Curious to find out what your experience is with respect to operating height. Ideally we wanted them to be operated at 12-24", however quantum meter mapping showed the most even PAR measurements at ~ 22-24".

Thanks for posting - appreciate all the support.

Take care
Dan

Hi Dan,

My goal is to keep them in the range that you mentioned. The plants seem to be responding well at that height. Once I raise the light output I may go a little higher if I notice any stress. Room temp has been around 79-81F and humidity around 67%. So far I'm happy with how this is going. This grow is about finding out the best operating parameters in my situation. Also, the light does not seem to be adding too much heat to the room. Overall, my initial impressions of the light are quite favorable.

Best,
RW

way too much par for veg. 600 would be fine. probably need some epsom.

Thanks, I didn't end upgoing to 600 yet. Also, once auto flowering plants hit the flowering phase they are much more tolerant of higher par/wattage than photo period strains. I usually don't go higher than 300 during veg with photos.
Both plants were started using the same batch of soil and nutrients are batch mixed and applied equally. The plant that was having issues seems to be recovering. The other plant is just how it should be. As the Bio 365 is an amended soil, I typically don't add much to it. As this is an auto flower grow I just added some 0-4-4 early bud starter and some Sensi Cal. I'm going to see what happens from there before doing anything else.

Quick question for my fellow timber owners, have a 4×2 area that I'm getting impatient to flower lmao, running a cypress 3 nothing big but Boi she handles her own, strains are Cali dream, LA confidential, and some OG Kush so do I flower or wait a bit longer lmk guys and gals if present

Dependent on how much vertical space you have left.

Also, I'd spread out the one on the right to the farthest squares it'll reach, same with the others when it stretches.

So basically move the plant on the right more to the left, didn't want to overshadow the smaller one in the middle, but will do, preaciate the advice also not much vert space
