the first is my male beadie
second is my gravid female
my veiled
one of my 3 pygmy chams, they live in a living vivarium i pimped out for em
then my female ambilobe panther and finally my pride and joy male blue bar ambilobe panther

like Sr. Verde said, us pot heads are passionate about our lives and the things we care for in them....my room is a zoo and garden and i wouldnt have it any other way! When i'm down the shit i got in my room always gets me high....LITERALLY IF I WANT! It really takes a different type of person to appreciate this stuff. I find most growers or reptile keepers are passionate and caring people, unless they are motivated by money... I just got fired yesterday for no reason honestly after the initial shock i just chilled with the reptiles, banged my girl, and smoked a few bowls of homegrown "fuck it" (the strain was greenomatic from my auto grow) and now i'm good!

nice reps/herps,how ever u wanna call it, ultimatelysoothed.....u cham owners are making me want one, i might have to get my read on, and learn about these guys. that blue bar is crazy looking.

and i think u guys are right about being passionate with, our hobbies. i did so much reading and i guess looking at, terrirum and verriums and other peoples set up's for my lizzy and my shroomies, before getting started with either one. i swear once im interested in something i go all the way

anything worth doing is worth doing right.

dude that's like exactly how old he is, nice eye! Your guy's looking nice too, how old is he? I'm loving the free range, as i'm sure he does!

I live by this line man!
also
if you get a cham start with a panther like fuzzy an i have here, they are some of the easiest chameleons to keep and you have the most options for colors cause they have different locales. Just do some reading on the chameleonforums and you'll get a good idea what to expect.

Just found this thread! I grew up raising herps, even worked at a reptile specialty store for years as a kid. I miss my pets.

Props to all the chameleon keepers, they are fickle, Good work!

At one point my bro and I had over 80 herps...now I have none and he only has an argentinian black and white tegu...

so pretty...I never kept chameleons because of the set up requirements...I cared for them at the shop, but never at home.

Do you do the thing with the constant water drip?

And I would love a chameleon...seems like a good fit for this stage of my life...I dont necessarily want to be messing around with feeder rodents anymore...

Oh man, if u dont like rodents, a chams gunna be rough. i have a drawer FULL of super worms that i have to feed every 2-3 days (gutload) and then wen u feed the cham, u have to dust the feed with cacium without D3 every feeding, calcium with D3 twice a month and a multivitamin twice a month

...then...

the MISTING,
im misting his area (no cage here) 4 times aday to keep RH up. it turned out to be ALOT more werk than i anticipated BUT once u get it down, its like clock werk. comes easy after that.

The worms are fine...I have dusted plenty a meal worm in my day...I would just hate having to pre-kill/stun rodents before feeding...I have grown soft.

And I know the vitamins are critical to healthy chameleon...thats why I gave props to the chameleon owners...

You seem to be doing a fine job with that one, I really respect that.
4x a day...I could probably work something out.
