epsom salts. 1 teaspoon per 1 litre of water, once every week or 2 in veg. Flowering, weeks 2,4 and maybe 6 if it needs it.

I just meant try not to aim all the lights in the centre of your tent. The led ufo's are angled in. Just put them at the sides and aim them straight down. Don't aim them at the growth, aim them where you want the new growth.

Ohhhhh got it.

So the soil I use comes preamended, I amended on top of that and I was feeding teas with Bat guano, ffj, and a Lil hydrolysate. As far as the above goes, I’m cutting those out of this grow. I do use Aloe Vera, silica, and Compost brews, I don’t see why I should stop those. What do think? This whole thing has gotten me rethinking this whole organic thing. I’m just sort of lost on the nutrient schedule. I was feeding once a week, with preamended soil but I didn’t think that would cause such a reaction.

Do you still foiliar feed with Epsom salt on 4th week of flower?

No, veg I spray them, flowering I do not. Flowering I just make up a 1 litre bottle with 1 teaspoon in and pour it on the soil of each plant.

I'm just going back to bio bizz light mix from now. Plants love it and never burn.

I've done autoflower grows before with a decent yield, without ever even feeding them.

My grow now I just spend my time at the beach. Just ignoring my plants and letting them do their things.

The organic make your own soil up is great if you nail it! Surely you would water feed only if the soil is already loaded? I certainly would.

Flowering Week 2 Day 2 (day 9)

I’m still having trouble from all the excess of nutrients that are in that soil. From here on out there will be no more macronutrients given to the plant, either plain R.O. Water or compost tea. I’m relieved to know that I have been over feeding my plants because it’s solved quite a bit of mysteries for me. My Tomato plants outside were suffering, the buds kept on falling off and I couldn’t figure out why. It all makes sense now. The clones on the bottom are doing better than the main plant. One of the clones is already producing trichromes. You’ll see how much more the clones are developed than the main plant and I attribute that to over-feeding. It’s an amateur mistake but I’m glad I got it under way

So I gotta question, would it be possible to start off some seeds in 12/12 light cycle, find out who’s the female and the. Reveg them to grow out and flower, would that work?

I just wait until they show maturity. Looking at the photo's I would prefer to just make a veg area. Maybe remove one of the led's and veg them in a very small area on 18-6.

People do grow 12/12 from seed/clone. Maybe time to dig out the pc case for vegging lol

Yeah I got an area I can Veg a few out. I’m getting really excited about the new grow, making some drastic changes. As well i’ll Be buying a new air pump and filter for the compost tea, so that’ll be really sweet

About 5 days ago I foiliar fed with Epsom salt, and watered and now the leaves aren’t curling or clawing! They still have the lime green tint to them, but there are looking darker. Also the rigid ness has smoothed out, so needless to say the plant is doing much better. I’m still sticking with cutting out the Macro nutrients, and giving Aloe Vera, Ful-Humix, and Silicate, as well as continue brewing AACT’s. I’m really happy with how the plant kicked back It’s drinking water quicker which I take as a good sign. I was afraid that I fried the roots, whith how much nutrients are already in the soil. Trichromes are now on the larger plant so things are really moving along

So the true wattage of the QB light is 65watts, is that too low? Should I buy another 65 watt light? It says it’s enough for a 1x2”, which is what I have. I read somewhere that you need at least 100watts. @Fevs. what do ya think?

Flowering Week 3 Day 3 (Day 17)

Hey folks, just trucking along here. I have been out for five days and she’s changed quite a bit. The color has come back to the leaves for the most part and She’s also developed buds. It seems as if she hasn’t gotten much taller, so I’m brewing some compost tea with Ful-Humix, growsil (Silicate), bt, lactobacillus, Aloe Vera, and soil blast. Soil blast is supposed to “super charge” your soil with different bacilli and trichoderma. I found it at a neat garden shop, so I thought i’d Buy it. There is a lot of resin production going so so early in the grow, that has to be a good sign. Not much else to report but I do believe she has been fully recovered from that nutrient burn. Anyways here are some pics

Lol I know, would micronutrients burn her too? Like humid acid and silica?
She's just had nute burn, why don't you give her really small plain water feeds for a few days? It really gets them going. Feed it like half a litre of water, but only when it's dry. Then do that 2 or 3 times over the next week or so. Trust me, it really wakes them up, gets the metabolism going fast. Then go for a really ph friendly weak feed in about a week, but get loads of run off.

I personally wouldn't use it for anything but vegging small plants in a maximum of 50cm x 50cm. Sure it's very efficient, but it's still a 60 watt light.
60w isn't much. 120w would be good. Still, it would be interesting to see what you get with 60w. You have just upgraded to that light, plus you have those little ufo's… So really you are using more than 60w anyway.

Maybe use the 2 ufo's in a veg area and get 1 more 60w q b for flowering?

Just concentrating on the veg area and growing a plant almost big enough to fill the flowering area width ways is more important than getting a new light. Cut the veg time out.

The UFO’s are definitely going in the Veg room. It might be a month or two until I get another QB light. Believe me I want to do it, it’s just that money thang, ya dig?

Also what would you or anyone else recommend for dehumidifying my cabinet 32”x16”x60”? The humidity during the day is 45-55 and st night it gets up to 65 and even 70. It drinks almost a pint of water a day. I water every 3 days with almost half a gallon of water. Different mini humidifiers say the humidity needs to be greater or equal than 60%. I’m under that number and really need it down to what 35%? Any suggestions?

I think 45-70 is great for veg. Bit high for flowering. I feed my plants less in terms of amounts in flowering. That's how I keep it down. Just feed it 1/3 of current feed - once per day, instead of feeding every 3 days.
