Title says it all haha. Here's what I'm working with right now:

4-26w 6500k CFLs
2-26w 2700K CFLs
Fox Farms Ocean Forest
Fox Farms Nutes
-Grow Big
-Big Bloom
-Tiger Bloom
1-Purple Jems regular seed
1-Short rider feminized seed

Going to start out with 18/6 light cycle to try and avoid the hottest hours of the day in oklahoma and see how it works, hopefully up it to 20/4 if the temps aren't too high. The plan is to hopefully have 2 fems, but if not i wouldn't mind breeding them and seeing what they would produce. If anybody has any opinions or suggestions on this please feel free to express.

The purple jem sprouted today (4/8/10) and the short rider should be right behind it if all goes well. The purple jem looks lonely under all those lights right now.

I will get some pics up when they both are ready to go and there is something worth posting lol.
i just have a quick question the cfls where did you get them?

Any store like Lowes or Home Depot has a great selection. I got mine at Lowes. If you're lookin for ones with higher watts than about 42 any place that specializes in lighting or a local hydroponics store (if you have one around luckily i have one down the street) would carry them. Personally i'd rather have a lot of lower watt ones so i can specifically place them around my plants rather than being stuck with 1 or 2 high power cfls and only being able to place them above the plant. You get much better results that way

yeah... It IS alot of money... But hey, it takes money to make money, am I right? Plus I figured the more I buy, the better chances of getting a good germ rate.

for sure MJ I subscribe to like all of the current auto-flower grow journals. I feel like I learn alot from them.

Let me just write a post and get something out there...Short rider from Nirvana fuckin sucks. Seeds don't germinate like they should. Only got one to grow a taproot then the shit stopped after it was about a cm long. And it wasn't just one of them either, so far their 0 for 3 on germinating. Just had to get it off my chest and let everybody else know how horrible they really are.
everbody knows nirvanas seeds suck but they r cheapguess u get what u pay for tried the ak 48 shitty germ rate and male to fem wound up with 1 outta 10 that made it then super skunk and now bubblicious have to stick with em till i can afford a better quality bank

yeah, I agree. They aren't so bad, you just get what you pay for. Good to know what you're getting yourself into though.

Yeah you could totally get HIDs if you don't mind selling off a kidney first lol or just a shit ton of those christmas lights haha. Well finally got a response back from Nirvana and they're gonna send me a new batch and try those. At least that do have good customer service though, I'll give them that. Hopefully there will be some freebies along for the ride.

HPS lighting isn't too expensive... A $200 light that you could easily grow a half pound under sounds worth it to me.

and secondly... Yeah, you definitely deserve some freebies.

Yeah I'd def say as far as bang for buck, HPS is the way to go for sure. HIDs would be nice don't get me wrong but I feel that you could spend the extra money you saved by gowing with HPS's to just as good crop. But it would be nice to not have to worry about heat temps

Haha yeah I'm sorry. I was talking about those new ones that people are starting to use. The lights are blue for the veg state and red for flowering. And they produce no heat at all. But a set up for that will run you about 6 grand

Man that's it. Too much weed and things can get confusing sometimes lol. I'm sure you can understand that.
