Producing Feminised Seeds Using Colloidal Silver

Have you found the CS damages the plant?

I sprayed it on my 2 week old Jock Horror (being auto i wanted to hit it quickly as its meant to only take 70 days from germ to harvest) and its slightly yellow/brown leaf tips curling up. The other Jock is SLIGHLY yellow but thats more in the centre of the leaf and i must admit the PH is going between 5.7 and 7.1 not to mention may have hit them a little hard with the H2O2. Yes its alot of problems hence why asking if the CS alone seemed to play a role?

Seeds are fattening up nicely, although I have no idea when they will be "ready".

They were pollinated from the 14th to 16th December so the seeds have been growing for just over 2 weeks.

I'll be harvesting the original Red Dragon plant in 2 to 3 weeks and will chop and dry the seed plants at the same time, they will have had about 5 weeks of seed growing by then..
The seed plants (tiny little girls) will be dried and cured normally before I pull them apart to find the seeds.

Then it is a case of waiting until I have a flowering spot available to grow out a sample of the seeds.

Give the seeds 3-5 weeks instead of 2-3. Seeds can take longer to mature than bud, and the time it takes can vary by strain.

I would hate to see them not germinate after so much work!

I'll definitely let the plants tell me when they are ready ... then they will have a couple of weeks or so, drying and curing which will let the seeds ripen and dry slowly.

The seeds are definitely maturing ... even going so far as poking their noses out to have a look around.

They should be ready to chop in a couple of weeks then they can ripen through the cure.

Just testing my new toy ....

I would like to ask a question
I just got my hands on some 90% Gibberellic Acid (Ga3) and I found some colloidal silver rated at 50 ppm. I was planning on diluting the CS with distilled water to make it close to 25 ppm befores using it. I have never tried either of these methods and I was not sure which one to try experimenting with first, but after reading all of these posts now I am planning on trying the colloidal silver method.

Does anyone know how to use the gibberellic acid or have an opinion on it? I want to make sure I use it properly and not use too much.

I am going to follow the same steps that I see here when I use the colloidal silver (I know its gonna work)

My plans are to take a cutting from my Super Lemon Haze and once she is big enough reverse the sex with either the gib.acid or the col.silver
thanks for showing and explaining how simple it can be to make feminized seeds I think I can do it, I have made regular seeds before so I know how to use pollen. This will be a milestone for me, thanks again

Where did you find this solution? What's it called? I'd like to pick some up..
If you go back to the beginning of this thread supaleeb, GOD explains how to make it real easy and cheaply. Stuff is useful for all kinds of things.

Thanks. Yeah, I know. I've read through the whole thread, but I can't tell you how lazy I've been these last few weeks ;)

Sorry, I haven't had anything to do with Gibberellic Acid so I don't know whether you need to do a single application or repeated applications.

You should be able to find in in health food stores (or even on eBay) - just ask for Colloidal Silver.

Sorry it took me so long to get back, I joined the Greenhouse forum at their Strain Hunters website so I have been spending a lot of time over there lately. You can see my experiment over there, where I go by the name of "CannCollector."

The Colloidal Silver I found on amazon.com, it's called "Bio-Silver" Ultra Colloidal Silver 50 ppm, an 8ounce bottle was $10.99 so it isn't exactly cheap. I am going to dilute it with an equal amount of distilled water before I apply it to my "guinea pig plant"
the GA3 came with instructions for diluting and application. It needs to be dissolved with alcohol and heat before diluting with water and spraying. The ratio I will start with will be 100ppm which is like two or three little scoops per gallon of water, approximately.
001.jpgif you choose to buy a CS product it would be a good idea to read the description carefully, you want only water and silver, no other ingredients in there. Also, the CS should be kept in the dark as light will cause it to degrade (I think). I found the GA3 on ebay.

I'm definitely interested in how the Gibberellic Acid (Ga3) performs, might have to grab some.

What are y'alls thoughts on using .925 silver as opposed to .999 while creating colloidal silver? The other 7.5% is usually copper, zinc, or germanium. Would this have any ill affects on the plants?
