Producing Feminised Seeds Using Colloidal Silver

Hi G.O.D.

? what is the Ma of your 5 volt adaptor i am trying 7 volt but the Ma 500 are they to low after 24 hours i tryed a laser no ( tindel afect ) i copyed yours same 1 gram silver i only had a 7 volt dc
Ive been experiemnting with different voltages and Ma ratings and find that the voltage doesnt seem to play a GREAT deal in speed its more the Ma rating (im sure there is a corrolation between volts and amps for sure watt = volts x amp?) because when i use 12volts on my phone charger and 12 volts on my DC hobby power supply i get different speeds and different partical size. I hooked up my multimeter and indeed the voltage did flucuate by 0.3 volts between the two but the amperage is what was greatly different. Phone was something like 15Ma where as power supply was in the hundreds.

I guess this said if possible GOD can you please (sorry if your repeating urself) state the Voltage and amperage and frequency (Hertz) of the power supply you used? In as little as a few hours i have a noticable amount of silver in my water. Maybe snap a pic of what your water looks like as the end product if possible?

It's times like this that I realise that my eyesight is shot, I seriously cannot focus on the tiny, very faint letters on the charger.

USB microscope thingy to the rescue ...

charger.jpg

It's a Nokia charger, OUTPUT 5.7v 800 mA.

It looks like the frequency is 50 - 60 Hertz.

All these numbers mean absolutely nothing to me, electromagicstuff is something that I have never understood, I understand "on" and "off" and that is the full extent of my electronic knowledge :-)

What great post Grumpy thanks for all the info .

How long do you think male pollen will store in a bag ? If a guy was to makes seed from a later grow .

its just funny how my buddy cant stop getting hermie seeds in his shit and you guys are using science to make this happen on pupose. haha

It's best to store in a glass container once totally dried out (use silica gel to remove any and all moisture), then it should last 2 or 3 months in the freezer.

There is a subtle difference between naturally occuring hermies (or even idiot induced hermies) and feminised seeds that have little likelyhood of producing hermie plants.
Does your buddy just have bad genetics (the plants - not himself) or does he stress his plants?

I was hoping it would keep longer ...

Have your ever tried this? If you had a female plant budding that was topped and had a couple of nice flowers going, Could you pollinate one cola for seeds?

And still have the rest of the plant going into bud mode

Definitely can, I'm about to pollinate a couple of colas in a Magic Bud ScrOG leaving the other 36 colas for buds.

As long as you leave enough time for the seeds to develop and you don't produce so many seeds that the plant diverts all of its energy into seed production.

I plan on only making about a dozen seeds each time I pollinate, a dozen seeds is plenty and I'll just make more next time.

Hey there god well done on the seed grow, and good on ya for sticking thru with comm's and guiding the stupid (jumped in too soon) questions back to the start of the thread.

can you shed any light on your usb microscope thingy you use for close ups, i want a lookthru mini microscope, i see them every now and then in cheap and nasty shops, they are cool little units with built in veiwing lights as well, now i cant find them anywhere's, i have a full veiwing slide microscope but i want a littl portable one i can take out and thouroughly search my plant for signs of diseases and good things like pistils and pre-flowers.....and of course cloudy trich's

Hey there Grumpy

So this is all very new to me. I have a question on pollinating a female plant.
I want to try this CS method on my auto fem plant growing. My question is once I get some pollen from the auto and I use it on a different non auto plant already about to bud will my seeds still have the auto trait on them? :leaf:

appreciate it very much,

If you cross an auto-flowering plant with a photo-period plant, the results are not guaranteed. It depends on which genes are dominant.
If you want auto-flowering seeds it would be best to use the pollen on another auto-flowering plant, then hopefully the auto-flowering genes will be dominant in the offspring.

Quick question, if colloidal silver can be used to male-out A plant, could you use colloidal copper for increased bud production? Im kinda high, just wonderin

I never throw away power supplies from electronics and therefore have at least 15-20 of them, with widely varying output voltage/amperage. Can any experts out there recommend an ideal range for a colloid generator?

Well I read the whole thread, great information, and nice seeds, congratulation!! I am glad someone asked the .925 vs .999 silver purity question. I was going to do it anyway probably.

But I dont remember reading if the original plant you sprayed the CS on produced seeds too. I would assume it would depend on how big the plant was and how much of it was sprayed and turned male. Cant wait to see you grow 'em out.

The plant treated with colloidal silver was tiny and had turned fully male with no female flowers at all ... but lots of sparkley trichomes ... it was smoked :-)

I grow a small clone of whatever plant I am going to treat with CS, then the clone has just one function ... produce pollen.

K, another q, grumpy, If you had a male springup, could you perhaps use somethin like colloidal copper? to turn it female? I mean i guess that you would probably have to spray repeatedly, and might end up having nugs tasting like pennies, but still..... you think?

I have no idea how to turn a male into a female, hermies can be treated with a product called "reverse" but I don't know if that works on males as well as hermies and I don't know what it contains.
