Problem While cloning...

Hai i have a quick question for you guys :S


when i cut a branch of my Kali mist....it doesnt root....i dont get it....


i sterilise my scissor with Propane Burner torch , Cut it pour it fast in water in a beer bottle near the window....and geez why the hell it doenst grow root and die start getting yelloow ...etc...

I have never had a clone live by using the soak the stem in water method. lol


I cut mine 45' with a razor blace about 3-4 nodes. Then put em in water an cut em again to keep the plant from getting an air imbolism in the stem. Next i split the stem in 1/2 for about a quarter inch an pull off the lowest leaf so the stem is a few inches long. Dip the stem in the rooting powder an put em in the soil an compact the soil a bit around em to keepem vertical.
Now i cover my party cup clone with a zip lock baggie over the top to hold in the moisture, an put em in he darkest spot in my box for a week. After a week i give em more light an spray em every few days with some week fertilizer to foliar feed em an keep the humidity up.

Heres some footage of my grow box with about 25 clones going, I only lost one this year , woot. They are about twice this size now. And they will be going to some cornfields soon.

allright tried another time again on my kali mist.....she's so strong that i wouldnt want to lost her when she's finish so im cutting her as fast as possible she just began to flower i got to cclone this after all i heard on it...was my first strain to grow and it look like its a pretty much good for personal grower/stash

if i can recommend a strain for his overpowered Genetic here it is kali mist....Resist to alot of form of fungus/mold/parasite it eveen produce his own toxin to kill bugs! bugs sucking up the juice of miss...well miss psn her juice to kill the bug!16% thc , 90% Sativa, tall and lanky alot of stretching in Flower but double or triple their size under decent 250-400watt


a DARK GREEN bud really "forest green" and the odor of it SCHEEZZZZ SPICY AS FUCK....honestly the sent after too long snoring it im getting a lil head ache true story,take a bong hit and headache away ^^


a 12-14flowering week tho but! the best is the longest! u got to crave for gaining something


the fluffyness of cluster are so ....fluffy D: im not kidding this bud when touching it is fluffy and really hairy Redish long air even at full grown they stay perky(not alot but some)


also Kali mist is listed in the Medicinal MJ as "Back pain,Cough Lock,Nausea, depression"


and to be honest....on Kali mist is like if i was LIGHT AS HELL....honestly this shit is strong its like being on mush...a little lower tho...u close ur eyes and omg....the laugh or the euphorie come like that ...im a heavy toker and since 2-3 years and man! this strain is still making me roll in N out

try some peat pellets, or rapid rooters & some rooting hormones. Should have no problem. Indirect light or cfls work best.

...I use an ezcloner w/ simple tap water ph balanced @ 6.0, keeping res. temps around 70....no rooting hormones, no chemicals....simple tap water does the job! After 10 days they're ready for veg. I use one single 40 w cool white flo,24/0 lighting

allright i tried to do as said, cut it pour it fast in a wet rockwool foliar feed with weak nuts(supermax B1 1-2-1 not even 3 drips in a 2 Gallon just to boost like...gaterade xD?)

and put a zip-lock back over it let it stand in a dark hot place well in a bucket with a tissue over it should be enough black bucket lets hope now



PS: Honestly how much time u got before the root get air and die from air imbolism???like....human Reaction time is 0.5-1second but for a plant it should be higher as reaction to air??like...30second???or u gotta really pour it fast in water! like BANG BANG or else it will die or u can deal with it....lik 6-7sec???


also i noticed something my cut isnt "normal i think" i have a "hole" in my cut its not like skin or any other cutting i've beean trying with this one has like...a huge donuts white white white and its like if it was a bone instead of flesh whats thats its bad/good/normal?

Everyone does it different.You really should be using a Growth Hormone.I cut mine differently than most people and my ph is 7.0.All my mothers are clone only and they are very difficult to clone but I have adapted and have a 100% survival rate.As far as these holes in youre cuttings maybe they arent in good enough health to attempt to clone.Hit me up if ya need a little insight.Peace

gbw , did u use rooting hormones? your only leaves the first 1-3 cms on the stem in water i hope or your stem will just rot , the number 1 thing u need is heat , without a decent heat u wont get roots.i suggest just buying some jiffy pellets or rockwool

Allright,Today i bought Stim-root#1 with 0,1%iba rooting powder , a Jiffy peat pellet dome and new soil.

Now that im back home i discovered stim-root#3 in a jar with 0,8%iba rooting powder.

my question is what in the hell is the difference too strong ?double doze?the 0,1 or 0,8???


[also i just noticed that the 0,1 costed me 6,54 and the 0,8 '-_- 3.78$ grrrr is this again a weak...product and im better to use the #3 one???

every plant use 3 in australia we call them . tipcutting=softwood, halfwaycutting=semi-hardwood, and hardwood is at the lowest point of the branch were the node is because that is where its harder lol

Are you in the States?We generally use Clonex or Rootech.Really easy to get.

Canada here i went to a normal Reno Depot Store they dont have much stuff but still does have pro-mix(soil,Fert,perlite) and 5 gal bucket xD atleast)

Stick an airstone inside the water with the plant stem, power it with a small fish tank air pump. It might take a few weeks, but it should send out roots.

Honestly even a bad cut in soil is mostlikely to grow i just did it with dirty scissor unclean and well it seem to grow nice testeing 3 new cutting they seem healty alot of water i have too say tho

I had this one mom she was so easy to clone all I had to do was cut and stick and would get 99% W/O Hormone.She smelled great in flower but would lose her honey taste after a couple of weeks.So I killed her.

hmmm, i used #2 for my hash/skunk plant with great 100% success but i tried to clone Cindy99 same way and "zero" success after 15 days. Im going to try #1 or try to find clonex here in canada . So far no luck find any local.
