Preferred Early Harvest?

Recently one of the people I provide for requested that I harvest the plant early. Only by about a week and a half, but this is when most of my weight gets put on. But they say they prefer the early harvest effects of the plant compared to the peak harvest time. I am just curious if anyone out there is familiar with this or enjoys that themselves. I suggested the person use maybe a weaker strain if potency is the issue but the strain is a pretty mild blend already. They use for a mental disorder, some form of OCD. But I've actually sampled this stuff, and its completly diff from my finished product...almost completly cerebral and in and out in light waves. Taste is VERY effected as this strain has a VERY VERY powerful sour fruit taste, but the early has more spicy armpit flavor...here is a pic of said plant in 5 gallon grow bag 11 days from peak harvest (usually).

I just thought this was interesting and wanted to share.

Harvesting earlier gives a more energetic social high and harvesting later gives a more cochlock head high. More intense I would say. That's just my opinion.

I took a sample of my plant..{had to light fell on the plant} like in its 3rd week. i got one bowl pack. i got this awesome head high. almost like a sativa high but its not. haha.
i liked it but i love the couchlock.
DankBudzzz says it all.

my first grow i harvested all of my plants ... some were almost 3 weeks behind harvest one was a bagseed that could've went for another month at least .... complete speedy high ..... not my thing.

lol
nah cracked out prolly. my buddy did the same with his cuz of various factors but that shit made u high and alert...it was werid, not like normal weed but still nice :)

I have completed my first plants recently and it caused some debate in my house. The first one was what I'd consider pretty textbook, about even cloudy/amber with a little clear. It was pretty good and had a great taste. The second was at least a week early and you could tell by the nugs it was different, they were really covered with course red/rust hairs and were thicker/denser, like they weren't quite ripe. I got a decent buzz of it, but I didn't like it very much. My wife on the other hand, LOVED IT and thought I was crazy for being critical of it.

The third plant I did, was just right and curing now and I can tell it's going to be much better than my early ones.

lol at armpit taste!

but really though you should tell your patient it is a sin to chop early and that you can find him/her a decent cerebral sativa strain, grow it properly and be happy. if they dont like the idea then i would suggest a slight lollipop session about 7-8 weeks into flower and just give him/her those buds...i dont like the idea of killing the plant before shes ready.

I've found an earlier harvest gives an almost incomplete high. It can be described as speedy and energetic, but it also lacked that certain je'ne se quoi that a flower has when harvested properly.

But more of a concern than an early harvest would be a properly grown plant. The plant in the first post has some problems. It looks like you're watering too much or not enough.

On average I skip the last 2 water/feeds if I'm harvesting so there is less water weight and allows for a faster more even dry and cure for me. I treated this girl no different. This was a planned early harvest remember, this is what that person likes they claim. Plus this strain has a polyploid mutation that adds to this look. But you are very correct it is underwatered, not without reason and only the last few....
