White Spots on Pistils

Hello, you May Imagine how successfull i was at Google with : White spots on Pistils mould?

All it have me was Things about White Pistils and thousands of that...

I saw the following Happen to a Guys Pistils on His buds starting around 3 weeks before end of flowering period and getting more and more until harvest:

The Pistils are all orange or even about to Turn Brown, almost black already on some plants, He prefers to really let them Finish completly before harvesting, and What you Spot on the Pistils , Not on the Bud are little White spots starting on top of the Pistils and then taking over almost the whole pistil until where it goes over to the Bud.

I told him This must be mould , which sucks because He will have to Cut/pick Those Pistils of at harvest which is a Lot of additional work.

Anyone seen These White mould on Pistils before and only on the Pistils? Thank god the buds and everything Else isnt taken over and IT also doesnt seem Like These tiny spots on the Pistils endanger the Bud to get moldy too, it seems to stay on the Pistils and only on a few of them.

Plus how do you think the Bud taste and effect will suffer If a few Pistils are Missing ? Wont be significant right ?

Or is This something Else no mould But normal flowering phenomenon ?

Sorry i cant get a Picture, but He is Very paranoid about His grow.

a pic of a plant won't raise an eyelid to the police, and how can a plant photo give away your gps , it wont, nothing to be paranoid about, depending on where you live,

Are you sure it's not just trichomes on the pistils?

What kind of light, and how close is it?

I don't believe it would be mold, more powdery mildew, but that wouldn't be on just the pistils. Look the leaves over real good.

No leaves are okay it seems to be a rare phenomenon It isnt light bleaching , it definitivly Looks Like mould in my eyes , but i See No Reports on This anywhere in the Guides etc.

Its under Led but He also had it Happen under hps sometimes.

Yeah i see powdery mildew seems to be accurate but its Strange that it only Takes over some Pistils and nothing Else at all isnt it ?

Also would you say screw it and let the 3 or 4 Pistils per Bud on it even when Smoking after a few weeks ? Because its really Lots of additional Picking and i dont know whether the smoker will even notice or give a s. about it ?!?

Lights more than far enough away , bleached some Tops recently with it, thats why

Will try to Cut a Bud the coming days and Post a Picture so This is documented

You might want to cut open some of the buds, with the white pistils. See if they got bud rot.

What are you keeping the humidity at?

No it isnt Bud Rot either i can assure that its Just the Pistils everything Else Looks fine ... Humidity average 50% now that Summer comes in Winter its super Low, now during the day its 40% and in the night unfortunately pretty high Sometimes Up to 65%/70% (on days they have been watered)

That 65/70% at lights out, isn't good in flower cycle. Early flower, not so bad, late flower, not so good.

If it's not bud rot, I don't believe you have any worries. PM is usually on the leaves.

Would be interesting to see what it looks like though.

Yeah I will get a Bud and Take a Picture in the next two days , thanks For the Help so far, I will see If it is possible to get the humidity down at night

As you See it Sets itself on the Pistils. Should be picked Off , right ?

All I see is trichomes.

I see it. Pictures kinda blurry though. Just looks like a collective of trichomes on the end. Can you take a close up?

Thats the best i could get No better Camera available you know These mealy Bugs and the Shit they leave on the stem? Its Kind of shapen Like that in consistency but it Just isnt that either.

Now that i Saw it Close Up it seems it starts more in the middle of each Pistil as a round little dot, Not at the Tip Like i wrote before

I see what you’re talking about. Can u flick the white dots off without any effort?
I wouldn’t lose much sleep over this…..just let the buds ripen and harvest.
I’ve found that lots of tiny tiny particles of different types of matter can fly through the air and land on a sticky bud…..and the stronger your airflow, the more this is true.
I’ve picked tiny white dots off my buds before and determined that it was either super small specks of perlite (that become airborne and distribute) or the white chalky buildup from using tap water in a humidifier. The chalky buildup is generally more evenly distributed on your other equipment, but it’s a thought.
There are some very experienced growers on this site and if there’s a consensus about anything, you can usually take it to the bank.
