Hello All,
Starting an indoor organic grow from scratch in one of the new mm legalized states! Been reading many threads on riu and have had a semi successful grow in soilless hydro years ago but know I have a lifetime of learning still to come.
I have 3 earthbox SIP's from Alan adkissson for flower and basic organics for medium and amendments: Malibu compost, potting soil, em1, grokashi and dolomite. $110/ box shipped. Arrived today :) What else will help feed the soil and make pineapple buds? Also how long should I cook grokashi/bokashi soil??
Lighting: I have x1 400hps and x2 qb96 v2's for flower but have not ordered a driver yet. Not sure what to get for vegetation and germination....
Space: 5'x12'x7'h. Thinking of cutting this down to 3x3 flower and ?x? For veg and germ and 2' walk/work space. Basement grow in corner with concrete floor + walls. (Presently cleaning room and will epoxy the floor) Mold is on wood studs. think chlorine fix thiswill do or it doesn't matter bc weed needs it..? How about powedred mildew??
Seeds: None!! I keep reading that seeds are needed to grow weed.
Will have pics up soon of the above. QB96 will arrive this week. Any help/suggestions are more than welcome.

Well over a year later, it’s on again. Medical cards finally, finally came out. Didn’t know all the regulations would take so long. Lots has been done recently. Time to update.

Been working on the room as well as a finishing the rest of the basement. Added draintile system next to wall for water issues. Removed old drywall around grow space. Stripping floors. Found two layers of paint to remove... Going to epoxy coat floor.

Added 3/4 cup grokashi to top of peat media then added some bu's. Then more grokashi and then more bu's. Forgot to say i added some water gently to the peat media too, to moisten

More work done on grow room. Added a moisture sealant then poured epoxy floor. 48 hrs and it should be completely set. Made sure to plug draintile gap next to wall so epoxy would not clog it.

All wired up. 40amp 4 way switch running 240v and a 30amp line of 120v sockets. Think that should do. Framing almost done. Panda film next somehow...

So covid has delayed me quite a bit but back at it. Changed framing and made the flower room much larger. Panda film up. Lights put together and hung. Ended up ordering the hlg elite 360 kit, x2 elite qb96’s, a cmh 315 and a 2’x4’ t5 6500k flower light. Soil has been going wild with the grokashi! Pics to come.

First run I have 4 lavender aura females. 2 plants per earthbox sip. Rooms were finished and ac infinity installed. Been water only except for two jobes tree spikes per sip and a top dress of BAD craft blend. Also Epsom salt once during mid flower. Been simple. Didn't get a screen on in time or LST enough and will suffer the consequences but totally stoked at results for all the problems I ran into dialing in the room. Sip growing is forgiving and let me take a 5 day vacation during flower and had no problems.
