Here we go.

My intention with this round was to ignore the semantics of what is organic and what isn't and instead went for feeding the plants what I felt good about. I landed on Soul Synthetics because I had previously used their other line, Roots Organics, in a soil grow that turned out fantastic. It's worth noting that I don't feel like any one company makes a miracle product and they really all are very similar in terms of what basic nutrients they offer. The key is to learn to read the ingredients and numbers to figure out when to give it what and how much. So, the Soul Synthetics uses very basic synthetic mineral salts which are of the same chemical structure as a plant would naturally extract from an organic source - - - these form the majority of the basic nutrient ratios. Along with those mineral salts are organic materials such as bat guano, cane sugar, alfalfa extract, bamboo, molasses, etc. I believe this combination has the potential for the vigor of synthetics with the flavor of organics. One thing that was important to me was finding a line that smelled good. The Soul line smells sweet, herby, earthy. Kind of how I want my weed to smell. Lastly, this line is meant for coco growing and has a higher P than K in everything.

I started from seed in rapid rooters because they give you some versatility when stepping up. They went from the rapid rooters to 6" cocotek baskets with coco chips to 1 gallon smart pots with coco chips on the bottom and coco fiber around the sides. All coco was triple rinsed by yours truly. Everything was inoculated with Azos and Mykos early on with Mykos continually added throughout bloom. For the uninitiated: Azos is bacteria, it helps with N / Mykos is fungi, it helps with P. So if you use the Azos make sure you stop at least a week before bloom begins.

Veg was quick. I'm only looking to see signs of sex and then I flip them. That means only 3 weeks of feeding after that first week of sprouting. Give or take. I went pretty easy on them and barely even got to full strength Soul Grow and Amino Aide before bloom. Really, I was trying to establish the Azos colony and not trying to use tons of nutrients. I was also adding their sugar/micro/catalyst: Infinity.

Bloom began week 1 with low doses of Soul Bloom, Infinity, and Peak. I prefer to use a late bloom booster for the first week. It goes against the instructions but that extra P really kicks it off. Weeks 2-5 were all Soul Bloom, Infinity, and Big Swell at increasing rates until I got to full strength by week 6 at which point I also kicked back in the Peak again. That's where I'm at right now. Tomorrow morning is the beginning of week 7 and I'll probably decrease the Big Swell a little more while increasing the Peak. Again, 2ml per gallon of Hygrozyme (fuck their instructions - - - that stuff is super hot) with every nutrient change and extra Mykos every couple weeks.

I'll probably flush for weeks 8 and 9. Not sure how I'll do flush. Might do plain water or might do some sugar water.

One thing about these organic hydro systems is the pH gets all wacky. I stopped even messing with mine and just let it ride from 4.7 (5.3 by the time the lights come on) upon first mixing to 7.0 by the end of the week.

I also top off with fresh RO every other day.
Sound like you've done your homework or you've grown before for sure. I grew using coco once and I loved it, but I didn't get to finish that grow. What do you think about the flavor of the smoke in coco though? I've heard that the weed is flavorless in coco but idk. That's funny that you're doing organic hydroponics. That's awesome. I'm gonna have to look into that Extreme Gardening stuff. I keep seeing great results with it, and the Soul Synthetics seems to be working great too. Do you have a journal?

Here are my two Plushberries. Growing them synth/organic with Earth Juice Nutrients through veg and the beginning of flower and switching to SN Connoisseur in the middle of flower. I had some under-feeding issues late in veg and it's been kinda haunting me ever since. But still, they've turned out pretty nice so far.

Here are some photos from my 5 different Plush Berry Phenos at day 40. All super different plants in their own ways but all very beautiful and smell incredible. Again, no pink pheno here and I was actually a little bummed about that. Purple weed never did that much for me but pink weed... Anyhow, here are my Plush Berries.
Those are some beasty plants man. Very nice. None of mine look like that at all. Seems like a very nice hybrid yielder. The hybrid that I have is staying on the smaller side, but is really sticky.

And about what you said about what to do during flush. I like to inoculate and give them a 10ml dose of Humboldt honey, and then just pure water after that until harvest. The benes eat up the remainder of what is in there and the honey gives the microbes and the plant a nice sugar dose, which seems to me to give the plant a metabolism boost to use up what is in the soil and in the leaves and I get a really nice fade at the end.

The flavor of coco smoke has been great. Actually 2 of the 3 best gardeners I know currently use coco and their work is amazing. Another deep water guy I know said his one coco run he ever did was the best flavor he ever had. This is actually my first coco run and I am very much liking it for indoors. To be honest, I would use soil indoors but it's just too messy and the bugs really like to lay eggs in there before you buy it! So coco it is for now. I used to do deep water myself but got sick of dozens and dozens of gallons of nutrient solution whizzing around my garden 24/7. As for the Xtreme Gardening products I can vouch for them and so can quite a few other experienced gardeners I know. Definitely check out the Mykos.

Think I'll do Cheesequake next so maybe I'll journal that one?

They look very frosty. I have one pheno that is super frosty like that. Is definitely the least weighty of the 5 I have but the frost is worth it. I'm a little jealous of the colored buds but I guess I'll survive. Really good, man. Bet you can't wait to smoke 'em!

How's the smell?

Hybrid vigor is a beautiful thing to behold.

I'm leaning toward something like what you're talking about for flush. Most likely I'll use only banana manna week 8, pure water week 9, cut.

Thanks dude. I think the frost has more to do with the bare bulb vert I run more than anything else. With glass blocking the UV they just throw out trichs like crazy. The temp goes down to 63-65 degrees F at night, that might have helped them go purple too. Maybe that could help yours along?
I had a feeling this strain would do a lot betting in hydroponics. I want to give it a run in hydro next time around. You're right about wanting to smoke them lol.
The smell is truly unlike any I've ever smelled. I'd never grown a strain that had any crazy smell like mango or strawberry or lemons or anything like that, so I had a hard time believing it when ppl would say their weed smells like this or that. After growing this, I'm a believer. True candy smell like fuity pebbles. It completely over-powers the smell of the OG and Bubba Kush I'm growing with it. The whole house stinks with it and in the morning when I wake up, it's the first thing I smell. It's permeated every room. It's not a sour or gas or lemony smell at all. It's pure sugar. There's a creme soda kind-of under tone and then toasted earth/almond smell of kush just makes it insane. It's almost worth buying for the smell alone. Really truly remarkable.

Damn dude, that's bad ass luck....sorry.
Idk what mike said but there's always gonna be a hater or two. If it was about my growing skill, I've always said I'm still a newb (not a n00b...), if it was a bout plushberry, well, idk. It's my first time growing it.

I should say that one of my PB's hermied on me, but I take full responsibility for it. I've been underfeeding them their whole life and I think one just couldn't take it anymore. I'm only at day 39 so I know it can't be late flowering bananas. I plucked them and am not keeping a very close eye on it. I'm not the type who throws out a plant just cause it hermies a little. From what I've read, some of the most potent plants hermie, so, finger crossed for a really potent plant lol.

Man the smell is brutal. It's really strong. I just hope the smoke lives up to the smell.

I'm WAAYYY to egoistical to turn down a request lol

please don't take this the wrong way.....those buds didn't look big enough to snap a main stem. Some butrient deficiencies can cause weak stems...is that a possibility?
or did you just break it on accident an are too embarrassed to say so. lmao jk
That's really heart breaking man. That'd be like me harvesting today and that would SUCK.
Are you gonna try and salvage it someway?
