will a 265 cfm squirell cage exhaust fan
help me bring down my temps in my grow tent
with a 400 watt hps/?

Find what ever fans you can get a hold of, and create exhaust ports. And an intake port. Try and position the intake blowing across the bulb, position the exhaust on the oppised catching the heat and exiting out the tent.

Yes sir you got the concept, now if you can even take it one step further and connect a clear tube sealed to each fan hosting the bulb in the middle. this is called cool tubing. You don't have to do that, but it works really well to maximize heat exhaust.

I don't know, like a pre made unit? those are expensive. But the tube itself you'll have to find yourself if you wanna do that.

Try the fan thing first. Check your temps. If more action is necessary then go the step further.
