Plants pollinated, should i scrap them?

Hi everybody. I'm frustrated to report that I've discovered my own ladies have been pollinated. Im about 5.5 weeks into flower. O checked thoroughly for pollen sacs or banana and found none. I had a hermie last crop and I assume some residual pollen from that hermie must have found its way to my current crop. I really thought I was thorough in sterilizing everything with alcohol but apparently not good enough.

Anyway what should I do. The buds are still pretty small and being that its found pollen im thinking they won't get much bigger. Should I finish out until harvest, or chuck them out and start fresh. What would you do?

Yes they came from the same batch of seeds, but I have really looked very closely and can't find any pollen sacs or banana. Im fairly certain its either left over pollen that I somehow missed when I sterilized or they were pollinated from an outdoor source, I live in a rural area so outside contamination is possible but I dont think likely, it is that time of year though.

If it’s from the same batch it’s most likely genetic. When I sent those two pics to my seed company they instructed to toss the remaining and sent me replacements. So either good customer service or they think the remaining will hermie as well.

I would finish them out, 5 or so weeks to go isnt all that long. Make some hash or pick out the seeds and smoke it.
Start some seeds now, for when those are done

Never ditch them if the buds nice smoke it ,just pull the seeds out

Just do not be tempted to use the seeds if they have done it before

I'd finish them out, pick out the seeds, smoke and get stoned.

Smoke them. You don't need to sterilize for pollen, water kills it. Hose out your grow area. Run different genetics. If you don't get seeds, try the seeds you pulled out of these. Maybe start them on 12/12 to get them to flower fast and see if those hermie as well.

Thanks for the input. Ill just finish it out and pick the seeds out. Have some Aurora indica seeds that just came in for the next round.

Keep the seeds you pick out. I'm curious as to whether the seeds are due to genetics or due to contamination.

How do you know theyve been pollinated? Even if they have, unless there is a large pollen source, its likely not going to be very many seeds.

I thought one of the calyx looked pretty swollen so I plucked it and sure enough there was a seed inside. Plucked several other around the plant that were also holding a seed

Like a full blown seed? They do produce an "ovary" that is the start of a seed but if its not pollinated, it never grows. Ive been fooled......

If you’re into growing seeded weed by all means keep going. I trashed mine and started over. I want buds. Not seeds, that might also hermie and ruin future crops.

I don't know what strain this is, but hermed plants are cause by more than just genetics. Also, seeded plants have more cannabinoids than non-seeded, though you do sacrifice weight.

Nirvana northern lights.

Also my last batch definitely hermied from stress it was my fault i wasn't giving them proper care.

These girls look much healthier all around from start until now

Did you grow these plants from the seeds off the stressed plants, or did you grow them off the same pack? I don't know the stability of Northern Lights, but I think it's decent. It seems to me like you might have brought pollen in, or left some behind. It literally only takes a few cells of pollen to fertilize a female plant. I would add filters to your air intake, maybe a gowning protocol for next pollen season, and again hose down your grow when the run is over. H2O2 is great because if you don't see bubbles you don't have any biological material.
