Plants pollinated, should i scrap them?

Because the pollen is from an unknown and most likely hermied source.

Personally I'd rather not waste my money and months of my time and effort growing out something that is more than likely going to just hermy out again.
That's why you give it a week or two veg max, then flip it. Or 12/12 it from seed to see what's what. Any fem seeds you pop are artificially stressed to hermie, he already said his first run of this hermied was his fault. I don't know his setup, but if he's got spare room to run a few of these it's not necessarily a waste. It really depends on why ya grow. If you grow strictly for smoke, then, yeah sure, ditch the beans. If you grow because you like growing, and learning, then grow out the seeds you have and learn something.
TLDR: IMHO, failure is only a waste of time if you didn't learn from it.

Side note, if you're chucking those beans, ship em to me. I'll pop them, for science.

You can't flip a two week old plant into flower. That's not how it works. Again, even if you could, you're talking about weeks wasted of nutes, electricity, time, and space.

You can, in fact, flip plants early. People grow 12/12 from seed all the time. And again, like I said, no one is telling YOU what to do. I'm making a suggestion to the OP. Who can then do whatever he wants with HIS resources. Stop taking this personally as if I'm telling you you're wrong. It's a difference of opinion, not some objectively scientific fact. Calm down, it's just weed. Now, again, I don't know Steves while story. If he's growing for meds, or for sale, then yeah, don't waste the time. As I already said. If he's growing for more reasons than just smoke, it's worth looking into those seeds.

Also, it's worth noting that if he pops those beans and gets any Males, then he'll know with 100% certainty that he's got outside contamination. That alone, to me, is worth knowing. If he needs to adjust his set up and entry protocols it's better to find out with beans he got for free than with beans or clones he paid good money for.

I'm not taking it personal, I'm just telling you that you are wrong. You can't flip a plant that isn't sexually mature. Which doesn't happen in a week or two from seed.

You can grow a plant from seed under 12/12. It will flower faster than if you start a normal veg cycle. Look around the forum. People do it, which is where I got the idea. It's called forcing.

I didn't say you couldn't grow from seed on a 12/12 cycle. Again... A cannabis plant will not flower until it is sexually mature. Doesn't matter what you do. :wall:

So how long does it take for a plant to sexually mature?
It's dependent on both strain and condition. I've seen plants with as little as 3 nodes show sex under 12/12.

You may be misunderstanding what I'm proposing, so I'll lay it all out.

The OP had a question as to whether he should heep his bud. I said he should keep both the bud and the seed. The first crop of this same "batch" of seed had hermied under stress. I suggest growing the seeds from this batch to determine a few things:
1) The stability of the strain. If these seeds grow without issue, then they're stable and worth keeping.
2) pollen source. If these seeds show any Males (with a proper sample size; say, 10 plants) then OP has a contamination issue that needs to be dealt with.

I suggested OP test these by first sterilizing his room theng growingwith reduced 24 hour cycle, or no 24 hour cycle.

This should have 3 effects:
1) reduced time to show sex.
2) reduced resources in growing. Plants with a reduced vegetative growth cycle will be smaller, and thus, require less space and nutrients. (This won't reduce time to finish flower.)
3) 12/12 from seed is more stressful on the plant (in theory, I don't have a published article for this. Feel free to call it BS.) Thus testing, to a point, stability.

If the OP has all female plants, it means he missed pollen in his grow.
if OP has all stable plants, the seeds can be used again.
If the OP has ANY males it means he has outside pollen entering his grow space.

whether or not it's worth it to the OP to do the test isn't my call, but nothing I've stated here (besides possible light stress) is false.
