Can you only grow 1 plant per 1 gallon pot? Ive been hearing that the roots will choke each other. I have 6 sprouts all in one container and there about 2 inch high, if they do choke each other when should i transplant, and what is the best way to transplant?

drown your pot so the soil is like really muddy, this will loosen up the roots, then transplant. They will choke eachother out and only the strongest one will survive. You want one gallon per foot of growth.

Transplant as soon as possible. That way there will be no way that the roots will have grown together.

yes, i would transplant ASAP. The longer you wait, the more entangled the root systems will become.

also, most people have recommended using 3 gallon pots, as this will help prevent your plants from becoming rootbound.
