That price is for first 10 units. Just trying to get it out there. I will have final hoods this week. I took it to a local hydro store and they want a display unit asap. It seems to be everything the lec should've been imho.

please take a look at my setup and offer an opinion on my spacing?

in the pic both ends have 2x 3590 , 3500k 72v @.7 so same as you about 50w per cob, 56% efficient

The middle part is an optic led with 4 vero29 @~80w per cob, 40% efficient. (uvb tube in center)

The closest spacing is about 12" the furthest is about 17,18"

In that situation I think you have everything set up the way I would. The center plants are farther away and ends are closer. The tilt on the fixture doesn't seem necessary to me because you are pushing more light on the left side twords the wall. I would raise the right side up until level. Without lenses the spread is pretty fast so I'd say 12 inches is great actually. Just check for signs of heat stress or bleaching.

@hippee I like your design and attention to detail , especially the clean wiring. All you need is a screw driver to take care of a driver failure.

Can you tell us a little more about the COB covers you have there? Did you fabricate the alum rings? what kind of glass covers the cobs.

3x cxa3070. Reused cheap led box. Built with help from supra.

no glass covering the cobs and the rings are made of stainless steel they came from a drop ceiling out of an elevator wish I had more for the other one I am building now

I really dig your light man, but you know that already, haha, I have moved my cobs to 10 inches over my top colas ,, but then again I am only running 2 cxa's after 12 hours on the leave and plants look ok, I wont go any closer though,

My brand new creation. 8 cxb3070 4000k on 2 mw hlg 185h c1400b. Reflector holders installed...reflectors will be purchased soon.

16x CXB3590s CD at .7-1.4A. Heatsinks are 40 inches by 5.886. Drivers mounted on control panel outside of tent to keep the tent cool. Draw from the wall is just over 800 watts for this 4x4 space

@kmog33 Nice diy on that old Chinese panel
I am not sure if those corner COB's are losing light to the front panel. from the pic seems like a lot of light hitting sides of light front panel. Not sure if an F13838_ANGELINA-XW reflector can fit there. If it does it might help.

Thanks. I was mostly just trying I get this one to run, I'll be cleaning it up now that I'm getting a few more cobs.

I can't wait to post my finished light along with all these other great DIY lights. Awesome job guys!
