The results are in. 8 Vero 29's at ~800w. 5 wks bloom. 1 month veg. Pay no attention to the runt Strawberry Haze front left. It's 12/12 from seed and a bit behind. The fence rail air hood keeps all cool, even in such a small area. Bent the heck out of some of the colas. 3d, SLH, and L.S.D. Maybe next year more efficient. I think another GPW grow. Another 4 wks or so. Stretch done. Fattening now. Just think if I knew what the hell I was doing. Soil and chem ferts. (just a bit)

Have you given any thought to opening up you can PSU and removing the wall pins and soldering your wires direct inside for added safety? Nice build though.
I actually did but ended up blowing that adapter up.. not sure what was wrong. I was just trying to finish it up and kinda rushed it.

Those look like some of the nicest cob colas I have seen posted!

photos speak..15.5 inches ok but more numbers and details would be appreciated.
what cob, driver and how hard driven.
Good luck with testing. Note reading change a lot with reflective walls. Center is always higher Also good idea to plot values on a 2x2, 2x3, 3x3 or 4x4 grid

Artic Alpine 11 CPU Cooler
Molex Pico EZ-Mate Connectors
Ledil Angelina Reflectors with accompanying base
Cheap aluminum angle iron from Home Depot
Wago 222 Connectors for a solder less build

Spacing of cobs during testing for anyone interested was 12" on center for each COB per rail and 16" on center rail to rail. I intend to plot the PAR values and determine a ppfd. My goal is to hit an average of 850-950 PAR at about 14" from the canopy for the entire grow area. And my walls are reflective. That is why I'm doing testing with no reflectivity so the readings are understated.

Let me get this right, Your trying to cover a 4' x 12' space with only 600 watts?
4' x 12' = 48 sqft
48 x 30 w/sqft = 1440 watts

Did I miss something or am I interpreting what you said wrong?

If you are running the Arctic Alpine 11 CPU coolers here are some numbers thanks to some of the testing done by SupraSPL
@ 4.91V draws 74mA, dissipates .363W (silent)

Let's round that up to 80mA for ease of calculations
8 x 80 = 640mA
So a 5V 700mA PSU or higher will suffice in your situation.

Something like THIS would work perfect (And it's OEM so efficiency & longevity should be better then using generic)

When your looking for a wall wart (Phone charger) pay close attention to the efficiency rating on it you want call V or VI for best efficiency. If efficiency isnt listed avoid it cause it's likely lower efficiency. Also avoid any that say they are transformer type as these are unregulated and voltage can fluctuate plus efficiency is not great. If you look on any wall wart they will list Input voltage/current, Output Voltage/current, Class or efficiency rating and other info. Here are a couple pictures so you can see what I am talking about.

I'm running 8 (4per fence rail) in an area 46x40". 800 w.
