Hey Tejashidrow, Closer to the Luminus probably. Looking for that 90 degree angle. Might actually make a rack for the wall, and make the Fusions tiltable, and raise able & lower able. that would keep all the electrical nice and tidey and out of the grow area.

My current light rig is ratchet straped so it moves up and down pretty easy, and dont want to ruin it with attaching crap to it,.. Its down the road, seeing it might take awhile to even get the boards.

I understand....
Good things are worth the wait.
As is the fusion boards.....

Maybe you might think about going ahead and starting flowering without the fusions???
Since you like to do 12/12 from seed might as well pop those into flower.
Don’t wanna be like me and overgrow your space waiting.....

Great looking grow, nice sunboard. She definitely is a Lil monster! 60 watts is killing it right now!

I made a strip Light and I swear I feel like I ripped off the sun board lol. 240 diodes a panel. I saw the sunboard a couple weeks later and was like damn looks like my lightView attachment 4117549 this one runs at around 160 Max watts. I run it soft
it vegs really nice
Hey @Rolla J

You space is close to mine.
That looks nice. Pop a 12 volt muffin fan ( NOT a computer fan!!) in there on 24/7 for circulation
You might see one in one of my pics.
It’s just hanging off a spring expandable curtain rod.
That was the Second best upgrade I ever made to my cab.( sunboard #1 by a umole)
I was honestly thinking about strips till I found the sunboards.

Here’s a question I should have asked a couple weeks ago....
How close can I come to the Sunboard???
The Cree cobs I used to use burned the buds if closer than 12 inches...
Thanks

From what Ive gathered, you can put these right almost on the plant. Of course, who would do that. so you should be fine at 6inches,

The canopy height ( just measured it) is 4-6 inches from the sunboard.
4 inches at edges and 6 in the middle.
The sunboard is static.
Next season ( each grow is a seaso) I am thinking of makeing the sunboards hight adjustable.
The manifold/mainline training is what I use.
I like to train to get 12-24 buds (strain specific) and each bud is 12-18 inches tall.
That’s 12-18 inches of flower material.
This grow the stems are 18 inches tall but the bottom 6 inches are just stem and it’s wasted space due to canopy shading. I hate wasted space cuz I don’t have space to waste.
I think 4-6 inches will work. That’s right at the defused light start zone.
That’ll put the sunboard as close as possible

Bump
One thing I have noted is the temp in my cab
With the 250 watt leds my temps ran at 3-5 degrees above ambient.
With the photon run at 60 watts I’m getting 3 degrees BELOW ambient
Crazy but true.....
These flowers are looking all right but some are inches from the light with bending.
The flowers on the outer edges seem to be growing better than those directly under the light ( and a few inches away)
Looking forward to my next season, With a properly trained plant.
But by then the southwest heat will have set in....
Should be interesting....,

good stuff Tej,

Photon Fantom hooked me up, got the light, like it, but not using it. No use right now. Would be great for cutting and seedlings im sure. I used it for maybe 5 days, for my seedlings, then put them under my 200watt Cob rig i build, ( badass, love them )

so now, i have a Perfect sun mini and a Fusion board Im not using, no need.. If i add light to my set-up it will not be efficient.

Throw some pics up Tej.

Hey
@InTheValley
Hope all is good. What brand Cobs did you use for your light??
I stareted with Cree 3070, then Cree 3590 diy lights.
They worked great when I had a larger grow area, but way too powerful in my smaller cab.
So now they are collecting dust.
Things have gotten real around here.
They found spots on mamas boobies, so now it is imperative I get this cab dialed in. And lucky for me I’m a r.c.h. away.
Now instead of growing for my head gotta farm for nausea, loss of appitite, and general well being.
I hear ya about inefficienty.
I was Allways fighting heat but not any more!!
These boards are vurrry efficient !!
Here’s a few pics
The second one is a “under the canopy” shot.
See all those long stems??? Hate it. To much wasted space. But I think I got it under control for the next season.
The rest are just shots of day 40 farming.
You can for sure see how close they are.
Fusion board collecting dust??
I’d be happy to dust it off for ya!!!
Never heard of a perfect sun. Is that the maker???

dang Bro, sorry about the news. RSO, 60grams, i hear is the best for cannabis. alot of B17, ACV, Potassium iodine, and as much fresh air as possible. Of course, no sugar..

People say it works, so dig deep, and beat that sht to the ground bro.. Wish you and yours the best..

as for my lights, i use the 4x Luminus cxm22's, but run soft mostly at 200-225watts.

Yous fruits look nice man, not much you can do in that small space, but heck, they look like fire so far.

Black Diamond, Perfect Sun LED company. Like a Mars on steriods, i guess you can say..

i could probably use the Fusion for side lighting of some sort, but I really want to get a feel for how this light rig does, seeing this is the first real run with them.. I thought of redoing my build and oputting the Fusion in the center, but, dont think it would be any use, IDK..

The board I am useing is the 4000k model.
All they had in stock and
I really can’t see ( not visually but mentally) difference from 3500 to 4000k.
One can do a lot in small spaces if dialed in and not overgrown ( like this season for me is)
The smaller the space the tighter the growing parameters are ( I.e. not a lot of wiggle room) yet I am pretty confident that next season this small space will be outputting 1.5-2 grams per watt.
Thanks for the info on rso and stuff.
Have been reaserch ing a lot.
I went ahead and defoileated ( post defoliate pic included) B13E2E02-2FF4-4CF6-8C93-E0B7CC542F23.jpeg the crop last night (day 43) and watered in with ormus.
I took off close to all ( like a ton) of the huge fanleaves, ( tossed back on the soil) and now have dim mottled light reaching the soil.
That’s good.
Plants responded outragously over night!!!
All lower white buds pushed out new pistals and plumped up.
The uppers crystallized and plumbed.
I was trying to go the no defoliate route but I just did it and now glad I have and plan on keep on doing it.
Seems to work in this grow space.
I too was thinking of adding another photon board but have decided to get a fusion and just swap out to see the difference.
But that’s next season ( 25 days away)
Grow well!!!

Id bet this is the fact.
I dont know about slimy but photon fantom never replied to any dms i i se him on any platform.
Id find it more likely that he has enough business from referrals, and he is happy with his clientbase, so he simply let his website pass and continues with sales in a more private way.

He never put out reliable data. @Greengenes707 could probably give us more insight on this matter.
