Yeah looks like they're all starting nicely. "not showing any growth" pfft. Look how the whitest spots are in a circular ring. I've been there, I'm surprised it started that fast though. Was it from spore syringe or from a liquid culture? Anyways, where'd you get your PE's from? Favorite one I've grown out of Treasure Coast, Texas, PESA, B+, and Golden Teacher has got to be the PESA and I've always wanted to grow some PE's though. I've been slacking recently and think I should grab some more syringes. I still have some left over but only like 1 syringe of PESA and 1 of TC

Yeah I grew them after reading about how potent they were. Instead of ending up with penis shaped fruits I had a bunch of mutated fruits that looked more like testicles than any other shape. Trippin' "balls" indeed lol

Yeah liquid culture in a syringe.Just have to shake well u know? Want more pics up ?

liquid culture or spores?

I have horrible luck useing actual LC in BRF cakes.... great for grains though.

Sorry been busy getting arrested and shit..But for whoever is watching this grow heres a pic of two of my jars.. and the 2nd pic of my slow grows that will probably harvest in like 2 months :wall:

..I'll keep yah posted. Oh yeah 1 jar just didnt even grow anything because i originally started out w/ 7 jars if u were wondering.I'm just happy they're growing because these past 2 weeks have sucked and maybe these mushrooms will like let me meet god or something.haha

HAPPY NEW YEAR! No smoking for me this year :-(

Looks like those first two jars could use a little bit of a shake. It'll speed things up a tad.

They are all obviously growing at different rates..Some faster than others..My question is would it be better to use the smaller container to maintain humidity,and harvest the ones that are ready..Or should i just wait until they are all covered with mycelium and harvest all of them at the same time?

Damn its almsot been a month since inoculation,its fucking cold here..

What do you mean by harvesting them? Are you talking about having them start fruiting or drying them out to be eaten?

Fruiting wise, I would just wait till their all done.

Hey all..I want to experiment with one of the jars...I have a junk load of vermiculite and brf & grain..Could i maybe take samples from one jar and spread it in a bigger jar or one of those plastic quart food storage snap airtight containers? i heard people use blenders to break up the mycelium? Any ideas?

Heres an update for you guys. I broke open a jar and put it in a plastic container full of brf, verm, and pelite just for the sake of science..The othere jars are growing slowly but surely..

I also heard this strain of mushrooms i'm growing is very slow when colonizing..

i once grew shrooms and read that you could cook up some more brf same as you did b4 in pressure cooker and put it in a ziplock bag and poked some pinholes (with a syringe i just happened to have) and than broke up one of my cakes and let it colonize the new mixture. It worked well it was able to colonize the bag fast than I put it in a baking tray and let it colonize that some more and i hadf just one big cake. It worked well but i was worried because of all the blue which now I know was just the result of bruising which was okay but i was worried that i had some bad mold and vever did it again. Maybe i should i want some boomers. Anyways I grew out B+ and I tripped my balls off-seriously i was way too fucked up and i dont really want to get that high again so PE might not be for me.
