Pallet projects

Let me start by saying i am in no way a carpenter but i do enjoy being self sufficient and try to diy as much as possible. I've recently become somewhat obsessed with repurposing pallets. This new house is a perfect blank slate for projects so here's what I've been up to.

it started with a simple tp holder/magazine rack thing. Was fairly simple. Would love to see your pallet repurposes or even here some ideas for my next project.

I've also started a medicine cabinet. Not much to look at now but i will show off the final project. Hopefully finish that today.

Nice. We have a nice covered patio now and I've talked about a wrap around bench just like that. Probably won't do the colorful seats tho. I like the rustic broke down look of the plain pallets. Maybe stain them for weather protection.

I was out of town for work for a while so i haven't finished the medicine cabinet yet but here's a spice rack i put up.

will be doing a headboard soon since our old one doesn't fit in the new house.

Besides storing firewood on them, and bags of dirt/coco/soil on them, I like burning them

That looks like a good way to get splinters in your towel and then in your dick, but I like it anyways.

Keep a sharp eye out; sometimes pallets are made from oak, low grade mahogany (shipments from Asia) that clean up quite well.

Definitely want to see that! I've been pretty busy with work and haven't done much else with the pallets. Once the yard is all put together and spring passes I'll have some extra time to finish some projects. I'm an 8 half finished projects laying around kind of guy lol.

Cool pallet stuff man. I get a ton of pallets at work. I seen a guy I know make a pretty cool looking dry bar with de pallets.

Idk if you're joking but most pallets are treated with some seriously dangerous chemicals. You do not want to breathe that shit.

why would they waste money treating pallets with chemicals...never heard of that/doesnt seem logical so i call bs

You honestly think a regular piece of wood can sit outside and not decompose? Not to mention whatever else it soaks up from leaks or spills.

I didnt see any treatment markings on my pallets...but i will relook
but yeah they do start too rot after awhile
