Outdoor grow strains that stay short for hoop houses and finish early for cooler climates

I m doing my first outdoor grow this summer and am plannig on using hoop houses and digging trenches and planting in them. my hoop house will likely have an 8ft cieling and I want to make sure I dont have the plant pushing up against it. Obviously I am looking for an indica dominant strain to keep things short and have a strain that fniishes ealry since Im in the PNW and it gets wet and cold here ealier than it would south of here. I have acces to a lot of different strains through connections here and a fairly large bank of strains of my own, but I dont know what to choose. Please help RIU, im looking forward to a fun outdoor season!

go for autoflowers maybe... they might be a little short yet but.
otherwise id just say its all up to you man... you can tie them over to keep them short or top them

I went with seeds from the oregon green seed co.got my seeds in 4days im in mpls area.got 100o/o germantion.the gal that runs it seems very nice.they have several very early strains.check em out.enjoy your summer!!!

Hey hugaddiction - im running a couple autos this year in my greenhouse for the first time. W the 20+ hours of light available, and not wanting to do a black out by hand every day lol, I figures this was the best use of our summers light. Ill be getting a journal up soon. Come by the AK medical thread and say hi. Theres a guy you should hit up, Woodsmantoker, hes got AK outdoor specific strains hes crossed out for us AK growers.

Good luck bro, any of the kush fam should stay short enough in your hoop though if you wanna blackout some photo's instead

Dude..That wasn't a plug. He answered the question with a source that can provide him with what he asked for.
Lighten up..we are here to help each other...Farmer is from Minnesota and OGS is a Oregon seed provider..I highly doubt he has any monitary interst in the business.

im glad to see the AK medical thread finnally geting some love, I thin that only had 3 posts when I checked a year ago lol. assuming its still the same thread. sorry to troll my own thread, but what are your thought on the vote in november? how do you think a state with no safe access and vertually a non active medical system/ comunity can create out of nowehre a system and a rule book for recreational use?

If you have the time, you might try using tarps and flowering early by forcing via light deprivation.

There are no links to the said "seed bank" ... The guy asked about fast finishing strains and the reply pointed him in a direction that could help him find what he was looking for. He was just helping someone out and got slammed for doing it. People need to actually read before reacting!

Looki here IDGAF who breaks what rules. I know them and so should everyone else. Simple.

If you have the time and will power maybe you should try a light dep. This way you can somewhat control height. Along with training techniques and you're golden.

Dude. Your post makes ZERO sense since no forum rules were broken in this thread. Read the posts before you assume and jump all over someone who was just helping a grower out. Im kinda upset it got pushed to november... more time for the No folks to get on board... im not sure what will happen. I know it will make it easier for patient's to get meds but thats not the purpose. I hope it passes but if it dont im already med and grow my own so wont affect me much.

Yall need to chill out on this mans thread...

As far as the november vote goes, i hear you on the NO guys getting time to advertise and get money together, but according to my friends in polaticss that are running another campange for NO against oil reform, they believe that higher voter turnout is the more important veriable for the mj legaliszation. At least if its in November we know that the majority of the poppulatin influenced the decision and not just the few who decide to dot eh early election votes. I wonder why it took the NO people so long to get adds up and to get money set asdie for this, its almost like they didnt expect them to get teh signatures, lol

I'm running mastodon, Gorillla Grape, and Oregon Diesel all bread by PNW breeders for our climate with a mid sept finish date. IMO your best bet is to try to stick with known quality strains bred for our climate. And also from a reliable source, I've been fleeced by a couple dispensaries about strains of clones I've bought.
