Outdoor grow strains that stay short for hoop houses and finish early for cooler climates

Goodbye; I owe you so many pleasures; but I have paid you with a dream of fantasy. Now your ignorance summons you to return.

Have the maturity to know that sometimes silence is more powerful than having the last word when dealing with a and ignorant, toxic person!

From here on out I choose silence when dealing with you!

Didnt mean to jump on ya bud lol I guess I figured if you had ordered or were growing some of their gear you would have a more specific suggestion. What gear do you have maybe Hug can take a look more closely at what your running. Lets get this thread back goin in the right direction!!

considering the seed company is where he is from and they have strains catered to his specific needs, I wouldn't call it a plug but a helpful nudge in the right direction, I live in the same area and have the same concerns, OGS was gonna be my suggestion.
Why not be a little more specific boss man. Checked OGS looks like they have strains that run from anywhere between 4 and 15 feet tall... a good suggestion I believe would point a man to some actual strains "that youve ran yourself" not just a seedbank from the PNW just to have to rely on the breeders descriptions? How many of those have been 100% honest for you??

Yeah cause your suggestion of a Auto was sooooooo much help, he wants a plant 8' tall touching the top of the hoop house, something that finishes early, like beginning of Oct. end of Sept., and known to grow in the PNW. Is a auto gonna achieve that? NO, but I see numerous strains on there that meet those three criteria. He gave no preference to Sativa, or Indica,Hybrid, or Landrace, so how would I know what kind of flavor or plant he wants to grow. Do you really like to hear yourself talk that much? Did you read those descriptions? those are some of the most detailed notes on a strain I have seen. You want a rec. geez here, Amnesia Hashplant.

Settle down sparky. I dont want a rec. I DID however read that the OP did...

and I brought up autos because up here in AK where we live there is no finishing outdoors without light dep. Unlessssssss you use an auto then we make full use of our 22+ hours of light w minimal work. Sometimes changing a cloth out twice a day is hard on folks w med probs

How did your Amnesia Hashplant turn out? By your comparison was it 100% of whatvthe description would be?

I can only vouch for what I have growing now and I can also vouch for the seed breeder from OGS I've spoken with on multiple occasions. She is a down to earth honest woman who is very knowledgeable and respected breeder. I can tell you she's not really looking for plugs, as she keeps as busy or busier than she wants keeping up with people's medical needs.
Size of pretty much any strain is dependant on a lot of variables, probably most importantly the growers experience.
I'm running Amnesia Hash, gorilla grape, Cindy's blue cheese, blue Snowdog and Mastadon. I'm also growing a few strains she hasn't bred and the ones that might best fit your bill are Oregon Diesel, Cindy's blue Cheese or amnesia hashplant. They will all finish before October 1 but I can't vouch for their final height. Mine are all vigorous growers so far.

How was the smoke on the Blue straims. I must admit they look pretty appealing! Her prices and the responses about shipping also look very good to me

I lived in the Bay area and in Redding Ca. for years. I'm in Ar. now and it sucks=HUMIDITY. To bring this thread back to topic. I just built 3 HOOP HOUSES myself that are 7'-6"H.x10'W. and 42'L. using 2 pieces of 3/4"x10' white PVC joined by a piece of 3/4"x1' emt on the inside (so it won't break) and a coupler for each rafter.. I put them 6' O.C. covered with #15 Agribon (92% light trans.) So you can see, I to have the same need since I have a limited ceiling to work with and do not want to tie every damn branch down. I will if I have to but, that sucks. I grew sour D. and various strains the seed co's had and my own from the years gone by. I do not know what to grow either. I am using cloth pots. for the 1st time. 5,10,15,20 for the autos and 30,45,50 and 65 for the photos. I have Soma's: Somango and Lavender; Humboldt S.O. Bubba Kush, O.G. Kush; Green Crk. by Cali. Con. The auto are Sensi's :Super skunk, G13 Labs: Pineapple, 'World of seeds: Afghan Kush Ryder: Sweet Seeds Jack 47,sweet skunk; Advanced Seeds: Critical soma so on. It is a large grow. I just want some feed back from the members here.
I have been reading the posts for a few weeks and I can tell there is a lot of knowledgeable folks here and it is funny as hell.
I plan on topping the crap out of them. and already have except for the Green Crack. I hear that is like the Mango I grew in Redding Ca. with a huge central bud. Is that correct ???
Question: Is the nylon square trellising good for hanging or draping on the plants?? I do not want to make 4' dia. cages from #12 wire mesh tomato cage style since I am in pain and have a hell of a time walking.
Question: The PH is 6.8 Is that ok?
The medium is composed of: 4prts Sphagnum peat; 2prts compost (killer). 2prts perlite. 1 part. manure, 1prt. worm castings. 8 0z. fish meal, soybean meal, limestone Ca. carbonate,(to raise ph to 6.8 about 3 lbs.),cottonseed meal, sulfate of potash 4 oz. and blood meal 8 oz. and finally bone meal 8 oz.
I use hydrolyzed fish powder I put in my Injector fertilizer with Bull Kelp and Humic acids. from a nursery in Grass Valley I have shipped here.$$$$$$$(P.V.F.) Figure it out yet? I do not want to spell it out for you. Is that against the rules??
I would like some suggestions on some fertilizers you guys/gals use .
I use a hand pump 2 gallon for foliar feeding. Any suggestions on what you guys use.
My shit comes out great every year but, I would like some other thoughts as well.
I really am thankful for this forum, so please don't punch me in the Dick to hard.
