I totally understand, so far I've transplanted my autos both times I've grown them (obviously I'm no expert), I was just pointing out the contraction... it's all good.

I'm especially psyched to see the Sour Stomper and Walter White outdoors, since they are supposed to be big producers. Sky Stomper and Skylar White sound pretty similar, but are no longer in production and I couldn't find any archived info on them, so I don't recall their specific anticipated potential.

Hope to see them do well. Got the 420 strains, and Fugue State is Amnesia and Walter White. I like Sativa so was concidering getting some WW too.

Thanks. I'm not sure outdoors is the best environment for autos... as odd as it sounds -- that a plant might actually produce better in an artificial environment. I'm just going this route to beat the weather, at the end of the season I'll know if it was worth it. I sure don't want to waste Mephi$to seeds in any situation which does not exploit their potential.

The person I grow for also likes Sativa's, and high THC/potent strains (long time smoker). The Chemdogging is the most Indica dominant one I got, I think, and that's OK for late in the evening. So far Meph's are the only autos that I've seen that give the indica/sativa breakdown, and often reference THC levels, as well as expected grams per plant. That's the meat of it for me.

Well, from what i had read, Hubbabubbasmellascope, Walter White(was their most sative untill Fugue State) and Phantso Express(bot sure if spelled right) were their most sativas. I got the Hubbabubba cause i heard it was very good. Doing 2 OG Ripleys atm. Hoping they auto as some had problems with this strain not flowering 8 weeks in XD if i get 40 days and no flowers shes going to 12/12.

They are hybrids with photos, so it makes sense that some phenos might be photo dominant. One would hope that would be bred out, but it's all in the spectrum of probabilities.

Yeah, just that these are the only strain I've seen it somewhat common from Mephisto so far. And im not that disciplined at timing my lights on and off XD rather they auto and i can 24 hours them bad girls.

We've somewhat integrated our cannabis and veggie/fruit gardens, the season is coming along nicely. I did catch some of those mother fucking moths mating in my cannabis plants, so that sucks. It was too rainy this spring for me to affectively get any BT on them, it'll just be a matter of time whether the eggs hatch and we get worms... or we just smoke the eggs.

So far the biggest (by a LONG shot) and last to bloom is the Blueberry



The Thai Ryder is the first to have some hairs start to darken


and the AvT is the frostiest

Nothing, no light, ever beats the mighty sun. those are all autos from fast buds. You’ll be fine.

...unless you are comparing say 3-5 hours of sun vs. 20+ hours of artificial light... not everyone gets a full day of direct sunlight in their yard. Just sayin'...

Ah, the great outdoors. I was starting to see spots of hairs turning prematurely brown, and I didn't want to believe it, but it's true, worms again. This is a Mephisto Sky Stomper they are eating.

I think this will be my last outdoor grow until I get a true greenhouse. Might be a long time if ever. No big deal, my indoor winter grows will carry us. From what I can tell so far, the advantages of growing autos outdoors are not as extreme as with photos, and for me it's just not worth the PITA. If the outdoor auto is 25-30% bigger than an indoor of the same strain, I'll lose that much to the pests anyway so there is no advantage.

I was going to recommend some predatory insects from "Natural Enemies" but they dont have budworms listed on there. Im sure if you asked about it they would help out.

BT is the most common "natural" solution, but we had such a wet spring that I only got to apply it once, and I'm sure it washed off in subsequent rains. With photos there would have been time to spray again after things dried out, but with autos they started to flower right away. Some people say you can spray BT on flowers... I don't like to spray anything once they start to flower. It's all a bunch of choices we make as we go, we do the best we can.

Ive never heard of BT being used for budworms. Predatory insects can be used anytime and they dont "run away" from the plant. They usually stay on there hunting for their target pest.

Second year outdoors with auto"s since legalization here. These are
Bubba kush from Nirvana. We get the crappy Fall weather in Massachusetts
as well. Been happy with the auto's so far but getting used to the smaller
yields.

The yields are a small fraction of what photos can do, but I was starting to do things to keep my photos smaller, my harvests were getting too big, so quality autos might be able to meet our needs.

What is your plant count in MA? As a med grower in Oregon I can have 6, and then a non-med resident at this address can have 4 more for "recreational". With autos that gives us 10 plants, which even at 1oz. each will last us a while and most of the ones I have going look like they'll produce 2+oz (minus whatever the worms ruin).

Autos so far have been hugely unpredictable for me. This is only my second year growing them and so far I've grown from about a half dozen breeders and most I wouldn't grow again. Seeds from the same packets have had huge differences in finish size and quality, making planning a grow hit or miss.

My med patient has a really high tolerance and is spoiled from the quality of my indoor grows, so low THC larfy buds don't make the grade, but it's not a total loss, I'll make hash out of them.

Plant count is 6 per adult with a max of 12. They are still 20 days out or
so for 72 days. Flowers are starting to swell up and last year I averaged
1.5 to 2 oz. per plant. Also have a couple regulars in there as well.

That is one wild cola!

I have to top mine, if I left it like that the worms would hit and destroy that one main cola... They start at the top with the tallest parts of the plant and work their way down -- if there are several equal height branches they rarely ruin all of them.
