wasn't quite 3 months and I read over 20 pages myself and if I was the owner to OES I would likely not only quit responding to this thread but would think, "gee, bunch of assholes over there at Rollitup"!

Who needs it?!?!?

He didn't have to respond at all and considering some of the responses to him I don't blame him for being a little irate. He admitted the mistake (and I believe he honestly had nothing to do with it).

Unfortunately, throw in some mental case kid trolls and it's like, "what's the use"?

And don't know what legal states your talking about because ain't like that here.

And come on man.....since when is smoking pot worth your kids or your job, or lease. I have had jobs in my life (since 1973 when I started smoking) that I couldn't smoke due to possible urine test. So you DON"T DO WEED if gonna cost all that....plain and simple!

Go to the doc and get some zanak or pain pills, etc. Pot isn't like oxygen! We can live without it especially if gonna cost one their job, kids, or lease.
So your 58? You were born around 1960? In 1973 You had a job at 13 and smoking pot? A job that required a urine test on a kid? Lmao.

Wow, this has gone way to far. I think there are a few things we can all agree on 1) it was not handled very professionally
2) it was not handled in a timely manner
3) we ALL think it could of been handled better.

With that said it was fixed im sure he lost quite a bit of business from it and i bet ur ass he learned a lesson from all this. I also say that we all mess up, now if you dont want torder from him again say ur peace and move on. ... but this arguing over the same point over and over is Beyond pathetic.
At this point, it appears to me that OES has a handful of non-customer trolls trying to ruin his business reputation and nothing more. The same few accounts repeatedly pop up and dog-pile in a lot of other seed distributor threads with the same relatively baseless, hyperbolic innuendo. They seem to love Greenpoint though... . As I understand it, immediately after a complete website redesign earlier this year, OES was alleged by one customer to have a technical problem which resulted in one shipping address that wasn't their own being displayed when viewing their OES account information. I'm not sure if OES was provided with a single screenshot proving this claim, but none was made public, to my knowledge, and I don't think any orders were misdirected during this time. When OES was initially made aware of said alleged problem by an actual customer, he essentially acknowledged the situation and made effort to remedy it. There's only so much a person can immediately do when it's some other company programming the website. So, why is HydroRed so hostile? Was your account affected, Red? If not, go have your circle-jerk in anther thread, loser.

I don't believe OES was "making excuses" at any point, if that's what you're insinuating. Once notified of an apparent new website glitch, he did and said what was expected, in my opinion. I've ordered from OES to Canada once and received my items in a timely manner. If I recall correctly, Greenpoint Seeds had a problem this year selling feminized seed that ended up being regular seed with an apparently high m/f ratio. If I'd have purchased those seeds believing they were feminized, and then spent 2-3 months in time and effort growing those before realizing they were predominantly male, I'd be terribly pissed off. Should you be trolled out of business for your mistake, Gu~? Probably not.

Did it take almost 2 months for ~Gu to fix the issue? Did he ignore it when folks growing them out told him about the issue? Night and day here between the 2. One did the right thing (at a cost as well as the grower Im sure) and stopped selling them and offered multiple ways to fix it at no cost to the buyer immediately. The other chose to keep chugging along taking orders and letting people create new accounts knowing the issue at hand, and addressing people in this thread when they would ask about ordering something -but ignore everyone telling him about an obvious issue. If someone cant differentiate between the two, than theres likely nothing I can type here to help. Please, by all means buy everything you buy from OES.

As for being hostile? If you notice I said my piece months ago when the site was actually taken down and fixed for real -and I had not replied in this thread since until someone decided to get crass and start tossing insults like theres no accountability to who he included in his remarks. And yes, I was a happy customer of OES with multiple orders (which I have multiple positive posts all in this thread with the seeds I bought).... up until I saw how things were handled when brought to the owners attention. And yes, I was also one that had my private info affected in the glitch, which was already determined to be far more than just "1 order" from an "actual customer", but more like 6000. I cant help but feel you just arent quite up to speed with whats been going on since the first comment in this thread came in about the personal info issue so I can only suggest you read more and type less until you are all caught up. I understand glitches happen, but it was about how it was handled, how long it took before any actions were made to correct the issue and how it was downplayed as long as it was that was wrong.
Read from Post #4053 on page 203 to this page, then tell me your honest opinion.

Exactly, I’m one of those future customers who was about to order until I found this thread. It sucks too because I still want to do business with them as they have lots of stuff that JB and SOS don’t have but I’m waiting for an option for a guest checkout without making an account. I really like the way Southern Oregon Seeds does ordering.

Joe
Until they mess up a order like they did mine. I only got 1 out of 3 packs I paid for. Chris the owner doesn't act like he wants to fix the problem either. Me and my bro have spent a lot of cash there too. Southern Oregon won't be getting anymore of my bread unless Chris fixes their mistake.

Ive been trying to delete my account since I heard about the personal info issue but they never answer my calls, emails, or texts.
I do not want my personal info on their website. Personal info is a realm where privacy should be kept under the most lockdown. Fuck that up and its UNACCEPTABLE. Fuck OES for slacking.

Has anyone gas issues with OES? I placed an order 8 days ago and it still says processing?? I tried contacting someone 2 days ago but haven't heard back from anyone not sure about this place I usually use DC Seed exchange which I love but they have been low on inventory recently so tried these guys out. Guess first and last time
