I spent most of my life in business (retired now) but was self-employed!

I would not shut my business down over a computer glitch that only effected the accounts of pending orders. I would feel terrible and fire my site builder but pulling the plug on a business is (even temporary) a big deal especially with current/pending orders.

The first rule of ordering seeds is: Never have them sent to your grow address! If you take that risk then that is your risk! Also, businesses have employees with bills...can't just fire everyone!

So, some stoner gets some other stoner's address. That does suck but what are the chances that someone would actually pursue an address for personal gain (getting busted not possible as cops can't get a search warrant just because someone says someone is growing at a certain address...that's hearsay!).

I'm not afraid of Joe blow off the street because when it comes to my grow...Joe blow should be afraid of me...but I live in the southwest and we do things different out here. If you are afraid then maybe you should go hide under your bed where it's safe!

The root issue is how the owner of the company choose to handle it. The denials of there being a issue, the statments that the problem was corrected when it was not etc.

And if they didn't already have a good track record and the entire fiasco the fault of new web designer (who they obviously had some problems with) then I would agree with you. I however view the owner more as a victim in this as he didn't have any, "magic buttons", to fix the issue.

He completely ignored the problem for over a month, and then spent additional months claiming the problem was fixed when it wasn’t.

I just don’t understand the loyalty to a company that would be so lax when it comes to customers’ privacy. There are over a dozen seed banks with the exact same seeds that haven’t had these issues. So why choose OES?

Anymore responses to this stupidity is redundant, seriously. Does anyone really believe what this guy has to say has any validity. Come on people let's get back to reality. Order at your own risk. Enough said.

How long do these guys take to get an order out? I have one pack I got on pre-order over a month ago, which obviously I understood I’d be waiting a bit for(anyone else waiting on something from the Trichome Jungle drop?). But then I got another order that is over a week old for packs that were in stock and has just been sitting at Processing. Both paid for at checkout. I guess I’m used to seedsherenow getting stuff out with quickness.

I know i should not jump in on this but i want to put it out for anyone that is trying to decide wether or not to order from OES. Yes they have had some problems getting the new site working it happens sometimes. I have personally ordered from them 2 or 3 times and have always gotten my beans with no real issues. I would say to give them a shot for i think that it would be worth it and you always take a risk ordering seeds off line and ppl will always have an opinion about it and tell you their opinion wether u want to hear it or not.

Having personal information "vulnerable" is not worth it at all. Some people have gotten grows busted because of this. Ive ordered from OES (took about over a week) but I plan on never ordering again (better safe than sorry). The owner knew about the issue but didnt do anything for months. Vote with your dollars people.

By all means post the bust that have come from this also i do NOT agree with how it was handled but i also see how some of these other seed banks are ripping people off i have never one not recived my gear from them yes it might have taken a lil longer but i always got it. Like i said you always take a risk when ordering off line. I think that he has had some troubles with his new site and he fixed them maybe not the way you would of handled it but u guys arnt the one running the business but want to tell the one that is how to do it.

Not possible for grows to get busted over this so you full of crap.

Anyone, could call the police and say there is a grow at such-n-such an address. That's hearsay! No judge would issue a search warrant solely based upon an accusation of someone growing. And Google it...no one has ever been busted ordering seeds online.

If it gets snagged at customs they put a note stating such. They don't have the manpower or resources to give a shit about your pot seeds in most states! The cops could be alerted to watch your house but if your growing and selling from same location (illegally) than your a dumbass and deserve what you get.

Funny thing is I have never ordered from OES. But I have researched seedbanks now for over a year (and got burned by a few) and OES comes in with others that for me make the best top 5 to order from.

Don't wanna order from them than don't order....but don't fucking lie and bs and be a troll and try and ruin this guys good seedbank. Instead just fuck off

not smug! didn't change or make the laws! Sorry you have issues with your state laws concerning growing cannibals! I grew weed long before it became legal to grow and was heavily involved in the illegal drug trade most of my life so fuck off punk!

I'm 58 and have been on the wrong side of the law most all my whole life and don't actually wish anyone to get busted but was trying to make a point. Hey, some don't have the IQ to be good smart criminals so that's my fault?

Many are very good and skilled at what they do (like making good beans) but aren't computer savoy. So again my feeling from what I read is the owner is also a victim in this!

That's actually pretty funny but the part you miss is here on this forum potentially hundreds could see address.

On OES's new site startup mishap only those with pending orders where compromised (so likely one or two would see your name and address).

Which I agree is totally uncool and I understand where many are coming from.

I know there is no way for anyone to get busted from compromised info on OES site (can't get warrant for hearsay)

There certainly is the possibility that someone like me (I used to rip off drug dealers in my youth) could show up at your grow!

Thing is, that personally I don't care concerning myself! Actually, been on both ends of a gun numerous times (kinda king of close calls) so I'm not afraid.

I'm more afraid of myself and what I'm capable of doing (and don't want too).

So I guess because I'm not worried about it that doesn't mean other's aren't.

Just the chances are very slim your gonna get someone like a young me showing up!
