Opinions on a C2-1000W Sunnineled LED Grow Light?

Has anyone had any personal experience with this brand/company or any similar LED grow lights like this one. I just bought it off of eBay for $95.00. It is from China and it seems like a decent gamble to take considering the low budget I have to work with and the amount of power this light outputs. Now the true wattage is probably somewhere in the 200s I'm guessing as this type of LED light isn't as good as say a Titan or the other higher quality US made products (not saying China products are all bad, but you get what you pay for). I am hoping for at least 0.5 GPW on my grow as the setup I'm working with is roughly a 4x4 space (you can check out the current grow on my profile or indoor grow section).

Thanks for the all the feedback and input. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas holiday and have a happy New Year!

may last long enough for one or two grows.by then you may be able to get a better light. but not enough power for a 4 by 4 grow space.you really need 6 to 8 hundred watts of light in an area that large.unless you planning on spending over $1000 on an led grow light you are going to end up with low quality diodes and drivers unless you use DIY lights

How do I go about setting up DIY lights and what types of good quality custom ones would you recommend?

I think you could have picked something a little better than that.
If you scour the threads and grows you will find what growers are using ... Your budget would get you AT LEAST a Mars Hydro , ViparSpectra or similar as used on this forum. They will grow bud and it is a big unknown on that brand you bought and can be a knockoff .

I would cancel that order.

My 2¢

The true wattage is probably more in the 400 area. Not quite enough for a4x4 but it'll work. Mine is Chinese light with 470 true watts and it's supposed to cover 4x4 in veg and 3.5x3.5 in flower.
Plants will grow fine, just not as tall, but bushy as fuck if you top them.
Not saying it'll work as well as mine but it just might. Who knows...

I have been reading on led for about a month . I will comment this unit is likely real power of about 200 watts . there are no specks . I will guess it will cover about a 2/2 area not well . not to pick on you this led is not a great choice . I suggest a mars hydro 2 unit with uv or a meizhi for cheap led actual 5 watt led . I bet this led your pictured is all 3 watt if your lucky

It says right in the discription 200x5watt led. I highly doubt each only runs at 1 watt.

i have a 4'by5' tent with 5 plants. first i got a king plus 1200w led. they were growing great. then i got viparspectra 600w and they really took off! both lights use around 200-250 true watts each. so far id recommend both lights but by themselves id only do 2 plants under each as their coverage and footprint is small. even with both lights the temp stays at 78f and its inside the house. for seedlings up to a week put them about 30in. away. when you see them start to stretch lower the lights to 20in. they really take off after that! good luck!

Thanks for the inputs people. I am hoping this light will do me some good. I was hoping to get a great quality light but I only have $100-150 to work with and I probably couldn't get anything close to 1000W (or at least running around 300-400 true watts) for my budget.

both my lights were $150-180 each and have great reviews and ratings for the money. got both off amazon.

my 1200w and 600w say the same for distances but for great growth you have to lower them more and then the coverage is more like 2.5' by 2.5'. thats why i got the 600w for the extra coverage and overlap. my 600w actually uses more true watts than my 1200w. both are quality lights for the money.

I hope I am incorrect . with the actual guess amount of power this light uses . there are no specks at all . it very well could have all 5 watt led . but it could only have a 100 watt power supply . no info on a led is a very bad thing . Im just comparing it to other lights I see that are 100 bucks and labeled 1000 watts . that have a speck and these cheap . very cheap led lights don't use 5 watt they use 3 watts .

Send that crap back, get yourself a Mars or a Vipar. If you can afford it, a COB. But I'll be that guy and say that light is shit and will only hurt you in the end. Go with reputable companies with reviews and pictures of the light in action.
Save ur mars or viparspectra light money and get cobs. Dont get me wrong i have a sunni 600w w/5w diodes thats acceptable for veg but in my flower room i have 400watts of cbx3950 that smashes the 600hps next to it. Those single diode lights dont even compare. I have a 600w w/1watt diodes, 600w w/3watt diodes, 600w w/ 5watt diodes. They all work fine for veg, but i wouldnt try to flower w/them unless i used all of them in a 4x4. And they would all get crushed by my cree cobs

I only have about $350 into those three panels, but i would gladly continue using my t5's and have my $'s back for a timber kit. In a second ! Fuckin hindsight.....

Well yeah COBs are better....For 1000 bucks I think he won't be getting them though. The cheapest one is around 600. I'll stick with other light sources until the price goes down. You can achieve GREAT RESULTS without them.

Yes they are pricey ! Worth it though. LOTS of people have great results with their mars panels and such !
