Open Discussion: To Pull Early or Not

Hey yall,
That time of the year again when we have to make tough decisions on harvesting.
Context: These have been outdoor in new england since june, strains are Blimburn Sour Diesel & Expert Seeds GG #4 x White Widow

Check out the pics, the one with 3 colas is the GGxWW and the one with 5/6 colas and a week or two behind is the SD.

Today i pulled a few buds off that had a bit of mold (light case), luckily the humidity here is in the high 40's (prob keeping it at bay for now) and weather looks to be in 60's (day) 40's (night) starting to see some nice purple hues!

But seeing as the season is closing the last thing i want to do is come out one morning and have rot everywhere. The WWxGG is clearly about a week and a half away from prime time, SD i fear being a bit more sativa 2-3 weeks.

So Rollitup, I ask you, to pull or not to pull?

Any questions and comments welcome!

Cheers

What kind of mold?

Was it bud rot?

Was it PM?
Yeah, Grey/Brown, saw some outside leafs as a tell. Happens here every year. Again, very limited and I took off those buds. I’m worried about the humidity/rain/low temps synchronizing, then fucking me - I think if I’ll get another few days on the GGxWW, then move it to a dry garage to dry out in darkness for a day or two before chop (advantage of pots)

Do you have pics by chance? PM is something you can battle and win against. Or at least keep it a bay.

I spend enough time around them to notice a single calyx, don’t have pics because like I said it’s really limited but once I see it I always throw my caution into the next gear

All I can say is those plants have weeks to go. Id do my best to let them mature. But thats me.
I'm gonna agree with ya because I saw what you did with your outdoor grow. I don't grow outdoors, so I'm a bad person to ask about outdoor shit with weed.

But is it bud rot or PM? I don't know, but I totally agree PM can be handled a bit. Bud rot is a death sentence.

Damn man. That's what I fear most about growing outdoors aside pests. All that love you give it throughout the season and for her to shit the bed because of shitty weather.

100% it is bud rot, I had some pm earlier this year but I’m a ninja pulling those leafs off... now you see my quandary
