Day 35 veg0408191818.jpg

Found 7 males(4 sunburns, 3 slurricanes) so far, keeping them in my basement under a shitty led. If it warms up a bit in the next week or two I'll place them outside and hopefully get them flowering to collect some pollen for crosses. I really need to transplant soon, the plants need watering literally every day and it's getting annoying. Waiting on some stuff from Amazon to setup a separate veg area so I have more space in the flowering tent. Little cal deficiency on a few of them but that's more due to environment than nutrients or watering.

This is my favorite sunburn atm. Not the biggest or most vigorous but holy shit when you rub the stem it seriously smells like you are peeling a tangerine. A couple of the other sunburn smell similar but not nearly as strong. If this one ends up a male it'll definitely be used for crosses, my fingers get a little sticky after handling it.0408191602.jpg

After about 39 days of veg I ended up with two female Slurries and 6 female Sunburns. One of each is going in the great outdoors and the remaining six indoors are at 10 days into flowering. Transplanted into 2 gal pots about 12 days ago. Been trimming off any lower nodes that grow more than a couple inches. Also using some garden wire and spreading the branches apart to keep them as even as possible. One of the sunburns is a beast, might have to do some supercropping. Tent looks dirty I know, need to wipe it down and get some saucers underneath the pots.

Spotted some balls on the beastly Sunburn. I immediately apologized to the plant for assuming it's gender then tossed it in the compost pile. My environment and growing skills ain't great so it's probably not the the genetics.

Thanks, I'm feeding Mega Crop at 4-5 grams per gallon tap water. Where are you hearing it hermies a lot?

Well I had a little mishap. Had mold problems last grow and to help fix that I'm keeping the humidity low and sprayed every plant with Serenade. They did NOT like the Serenade, it burned up a lot of the pistils. Kind of pissed because I read it should be perfectly safe to spray plants with it. It's been a few days now and I see new ones popping up so I hope it isn't a huge deal. Definitely stalled them for a couple days though. Also getting a cal deficiency on the slurricane and a sunburn which isn't as big a problem.

Day 24 12/12

After the serenade fiasco literally all the pistils were burned (dried) up, they don't look so bad now thankfully. Some bud shots.20190506_212351.jpg 20190506_212336.jpg

Cal deficiency on the slurricane. Calmag will make it right.20190506_212304.jpg

Tent is nice and full.

I got a cheap bag of maxibloom. I might start alternating between that and the megacrop. After a couple weeks of that I'll go with straight maxibloom. Usually around 5ish weeks i also like to add some epsom salt for the mag and sulphur. Even if the plants don't NEED it I think the sulphur helps with the terps. Could be wrong but it definitely doesn't hurt, especially at only 1 or 2 grams per gallon.

Cute kitty. How old?

I found 2 kittens at work and brought them home, the vet said they were 4 weeks old, they're about 7 months old now. My dog isn't jealous, she knows she's #1.

She's about 10 weeks old. We've been giving her most of the attention which my dog doesn't appreciate haha man at 4 weeks they must have been tiny! I can practically fit this one in the palm of my hand. She does this thing were she squeaks whenever you pick her up, my heart melts.

Day 35 12/12

Sunburns are starting to get some hardcore citrus smells and are really frosting up nicely. Slurricane is smelling sweet and doughy and looking pretty solid. The plants grew pretty close to the leds resulting in some cal deficient leaves on the top. Not much I can do. I need a taller tent, 5ft doesnt cut it. Might have to get a 4x4 for next round. Anyways here are some pics.20190518_000525.jpg Sunburns20190518_001101.jpg 20190518_001428.jpg 20190518_001352.jpg

Day 42 12/12

Buds are starting to swell nicely and are packing on the frost. I don't think any of these are going to yield particularly well but the quality is definitely there which is what matters most to me.

Sunburn #1- Shortest of the group. Might be the best yielder. Nice dense buds with small hints of purple. Refreshing piney citrus smell. Lots of hairs are turning, I think she'll be first to finish.0525190002a.jpg 0525190006a.jpg

Sunburn #2- Stretchiest of the group with what appears to be the lowest yield. Spaced out dense little nugs running up each branch. Strong chemmy fuely smell with a small amount amount of citrus, very different from the other 3.0525190008a.jpg 0525190011.jpg

Sunburn #3- This one is my favorite. Good structure with a decent looking yield. Amazingly sharp not sweet hardcore orange peel smell with old leathery boots. I got this strain because I wanted something mostly orange smelling and this plant does not disappoint!0525190013.jpg 0525190014c.jpg

Sunburn #4- Frostiest out of the group. Light citrus with warm spices and brown sugar.0525190018a.jpg 0525190019.jpg

Slurricane - Nice dense looking buds with a solid skunky creamy fuel smell.0525190021.jpg 0525190023c.jpg

I have 7 sunburns going. I have the stretchy chem smelling one and one that smells of orange peels. It''s strong because I get whiffs of it long after brushing up against it. I have 2 purple indica leaners that I water less often. Despite the description on Oni's website, you are correct, they don't look like they are going to tip the scales.....but I'll take quality over quantity. However, with his description you are expecting both quality and quantity.

The orange peel one is really overpowering, I love it. Just a little touch and my fingers smell like I've peeling oranges all day. I agree that they shouldn't have put it as a heavy yielder in the description. I did have a couple fuck ups this grow which might have impacted them but I have grown plants that looked way worse and still were far ahead in bud production at this stage. Glad it's not just me haha. If you have any pics feel free to post them up on here man.
