Popped a full pack each, excited to grow these. Sunburn is (triangle kush x tangie) x ( gsc x tangie). Slurricane is purple punch x dosidos.

Using 1 gal pots with a soilless peat and perlite mix. Megacrop and occasionally some calmag and epsom salt for nutes.

Twenty four plants in a 3x4 tent is a tight fit so I'll be growing them untopped and flipping when fairly short. Taking clones as soon as the bottom nodes get long enough, hopefully find a good keeper or two.

Planted the seeds a few days ago, they started coming up yesterday. Looks like 100% germination rate on both packs. Counting today as first day of veg. Got them under a 165 watt cob rig, should be plenty of light for first couple weeks. I'll add more light as they get bigger.0305191634a.jpg 0305191634.jpg

Super stoked to see how those Sunburn do, I've had my eye on them. I'm pulling a chair and following along!
Glad to have ya. I haven't seen any grow journals with it so I figured I would do one myself. Looking for something super orangey which, I think, should be pretty easy due to the tangie in both parents.

I ordered from Platinum.

Hoping to see something soon...last week Artizen showed 5 in stock, today they showed 48. I'm hoping Platinum got a second shipment in...we shall see.
With all the attention slurricane got and the cheap price i would expect the seedbanks to be more prepared and have plenty of stock, guess not lol
Gonna be a nice tent full! Curious to see what you get from the Slurricanes from Archive.
Same! Based on pics from ig it looks really good, crazy frosty.

Agreed. But, it is what it is, right?

I'm currently growing a couple Purple Punch crosses, and those girls are frosty. I haven't had a Dosidos cross, so definitely keen to see what comes from these Slurricanes.

Aside from 7 of the slurricanes everyone is looking good. Those 7 were planted in soil slightly different from the others. It sat in a bag a little moist for a few months, leftover from last round. The other healthier looking plants were given fresh soil. The old soil didn't look or smell bad when I was putting it in the pots. Not sure exactly why it's making them grow so slow, possibly a ph problem. If it keeps up I'll probably just toss them and end up training the others to help fill in the space.

I think ill try tranplanting the crappy plants into bigger pots with better soil along with the seedlings in the smaller containers for a fun little outdoor grow.

Droopy from cold temps, going to run all the lights now(450 watts) to help bump them up. The slurricanes in the shitty soil looked depressing so I culled them.

Had terrible germination rate with my outdoor seedlings so I'll be running a couple of the sunburns and slurricanes outdoors, should be monsters by july.

Going to grow everyone out until they show sex. Transplant indoor plants into 2 gal and flower and tranplant the outdoor plants into 5 gal and veg indoors until early June.

Well since I'm putting a couple outdoors now I'm gonna aim for 6 females indoors. Top, supercrop, for 6 colas apiece. Probably about 2-3 weeks until they get flipped. If things went as planned( like not throwing away 7 of the slurricanes) i would probably be flipping them right now.

Looking good, My sunburns are starting to take off. Unless your trying to limit their size I would consider a bigger pot than 5 gallons. Peace.

Yeah the outdoor ones will be in fives until late may then transplanted into 3ftx3ft amended holes. For indoors i always use 2 gal.

Day 28 veg0402190009.jpg 0402190010.jpg

Topped everyone about 6 days ago. They look like they might outgrow the tent before they show sex so I may have to stick a few under an old 400 watt mh in a different area. Not a big deal since I'm setting it up for the outdoor plants anyways.

Slurricanes are showing mostly slowish indica dominant growth with one outlier that is a bit on the lanky side, methinks its most likely a male.
Sunburns are overall stretchier and more vigorous with only a couple on the shorter side. I swear I can smell a orange rind thing going on with a few of the sunburns but my nose could be tricking me.
