I would have, if they were worth it. Im also not really into fems, though, in the last 6 months, Ive bought more of them, than I ever have.
I found S1s, of the PUCK/SKELLY. I had to get them. Guy said they are finicky. They were $300 usd, for 12 seeds. $150 for 6. I bought 12, and was given 14.
Puck S1 in the plastic square.

I get it yes but they just not worth it bud if was 40 bucks then yes least with those seeds u got there u got a better chance finding a winner and imo unless you did alot of work on something it shouldnt be very expensive f1 hybrids are easy and take alot less work so it should be cheap id pay more if its a long worked line or a really rare one i think most of these breeders and seed sellers are a rip off minus those who do real work of course

to be fair I haven’t seen puck s1s available anywhere else at least not from someone credible. Haven’t run any el jefe gear myself but from what I’ve seen his zstarpunch is fire.

The Puck,, is one of, if not the most sought after of all the Pacific Northwest Hashplant cuts. Along with her mother Pacific Northwest Hashplant, which is what Nevil used to create his 80s-Hashplant strain, and NL1. Puck aka Skelly, is a pheno, from Nevils Hashplant gear. Its been alive since 1988. And it also costs money to keep the Mother alive. Light. Soil. Fertilizer. water. Time.
Skelly, also has a sister, known as Cuddlefish Hashplant. Duke Diamond used it, in his Local Skunk strain. Thats the only place Ive ever seen, or heard of it.

Bob Hemphill, also told me, the Puck wont produce very many seeds, and is why all of his first drop with the Puck, sold out, in no time. Next drop, he used way more plants, to make sure, he had enough seeds.

And Ive never seen the Puck/Skelly cut, or S1s of this strain, and Ive looked for the last 10+ years.

Looks more like its super skunk related to me and my eyes kinda almost sour dieslish too but not cool to get a look at it though bud whats the nose like ?

Heres the description, on Katsu website.

As it is described, the ‘79 Florida Heirloom Skunk stands out not just for its growth and potency, but for its remarkably offensive odor, a pungent assault on the senses, a noxious mixture that harkens back to the unmistakable stench of rotting eggs mingled with the sharpness of ammonia. This olfactory experience is so overpowering and repugnant that it’s almost offensive, yet for those who remember, it’s a nostalgic trip back to the days when cannabis had a wild, untamed aroma. While both exhibit the eye-watering bite of sulfur and ammonia – the ’79 really pushes the limit of what the senses can handle and, as stinky as the ’81 is, seems mild in comparison.
The flowering cycle of this heirloom strain spans 84 to 88 days, during which its already potent smell intensifies and evolves. Harvesting around day 81 yields a product with a headier and more stimulating effect, but it’s in the later stages of flowering, particularly around day 84, that the balance between its foul scent and psychoactive potency reaches its peak. For the true connoisseurs who yearn for the maximum expression of its foulness, letting the plant mature till day 86 or 88 is key. Be warned, though – by this time, the smell becomes almost insufferably rank, a true testament to its skunk lineage and a challenge even for the most seasoned of enthusiasts.
Both the ’79 and the ’81 are EXCEPTIONAL representations of a long-gone era, with the ’79 being the FAR MORE OFFENSIVE of the two and more of what I was looking for. Given the age of both, I think the S1’s and the crosses (I crossed both of them to each other) are going to put a BIG SMILE on a lot of old grower’s faces
I’m excited to help reintroduce these legendary strains back into the modern cannabis landscape and to a new generation of growers. It’s not just about the nostalgia or the pursuit of a long-lost aroma, it’s about reconnecting with a piece of history, a time when cannabis culture was in its formative stages, and each strain had its own story. The Florida Heirloom Skunks are more than just plants; they’re a living piece of the past, a testament to the rich and varied history of cannabis. With the rediscovery of roadkill skunk, we don’t just get a chance to experience its unique aroma; we have the opportunity to revive a part of our culture that was almost forgotten.
A friend is currently growing out both the ’81 and the ’79 and commented:
“I’m running several 1979 & 1981 heirloom skunk plants, and right hand to god my driveway is 375 feet – 465 feet to my mailbox and I can smell that shit before getting out of my truck to get the mail (and i am running double carbon filters. I love that stinky shit, even if I occasionally gag from the sour-rotten-egg ,baby shit, ammonia, and 7 day old skunk roadkill.”

That description doesn't apply to the old school skunk that I used to know. The one I knew smelled like a skunk that had been eating blueberries to the point that it died at the side of the road and then the next day, the sun came out and beat down on that skunk on the road until it exploded....but in a good way. It was both repugnant and delicious at the same time. I don't recall anything that reminded me of rotten eggs or ammonia or baby shit in the skunk that came through the upper midwest from Mexico back in the 70's. But, yeah you could smell that dead skunk/blueberry smell for blocks.

Ever heard of Luck 13 Seed Company? In Canada?? I researched around a bit, and they seem to be pretty good company.

I never had, until 2 days ago. Im acquaintances with a guy on Instagram, and he does legal grows, and had some killer shots, and descriptions of some stuff from this seed company. I The shit was glowing like a snowball.

Turns out it was what the company calls Y2K Super Skunk. They said they did a massive open pollination, of old SS Genetics, from the 90s- 2000. Thus the name Y2K. And then selected all of the most rank specimens, and discarded all the others, despite if they were good plants, or not. If they didnt have the old Super Skunk Smell they were looking for, they were discarded.

So I went to check this site out, and the Super Skunk had been sold out for a few weeks. So, I emailed the guy, and asked when they might restock the SS Y2K , and he said it would be months. So, the next day, I get an email, of which I had signed up for notices, saying some people never paid for 7 packs, so he put them back up for sale. I hurried and went there, and bought 2 packs of them. And it wasnt minutes later, all the other 5 packs, were gone. He was also giving 20 seeds per pack. 75 Canadian Dollars. 2 packs with shipping was about $128.00usd. 40 seeds!! Plus freebies. I ordered them yesterday. Cash through the mail. There are other ways, but you get a better deal, sending, if you trust it.

He said this project, took 2 years.

Genetics: Open pollination of multiple heirloom Super Skunk lines
PHENO HUNTER PACK: 20 SEEDS
Variety: Hybrid
Avg. Flowering Time: 9-10 weeks
Yield: High
Potency: Above Average
More Information: In a two year project to bring back the classic Super Skunk that has nearly been lost to time, we embarked on a vast pheno hunt of multiple vintage Super Skunk strains from our seed vault.
It is well known that the Skunk plants of 20-30 years ago are far superior to what is making the rounds today; all of which trend towards the current market fad of super-sweet and fruity expressions. The Super Skunk that was circulating through the underground market in the 90’s and early 2000’s was a far more pungent plant with a much more distinct and euphoric high. The ultra-rare and highly sought after Giesel and Mass Super Skunk are just two of the many lines that descended from this classic Super Skunk strain.
In order to bring back these lost genetics, we had to pop a significant number of Super Skunk seeds that we held in storage dating from around the turn of the millennium.
In this open pollination our primary goal was skunky and pungent aromas. This required significant culling of any and all phenotypes that didn’t express that telltale funk that you would expect in a strain called Super Skunk. We removed all plants from the breeding pool that didn’t provide a measured dose of that classic aroma, regardless of how desirable they may have been in other categories. No attention was paid to structure, yield, coloration, or modern bag appeal. As a result of this singularly focused selection process, and the sheer number of plants combined in this massive open pollination, do not expect clone-like uniformity in Super Skunk Y2K.
However, if you’re a dedicated skunk hunter willing to put the time and effort into exploring these old school genetics, you will be rewarded with some classic cannabis gold in each and every pack. Super Skunk Y2K delivers a retrocentric experience from the days before smart phones when the weed was killer and the smell was offensive.
Due to the unique nature of this project, and our desire to get these vintage genetics back out into the world we are offering Super Skunk Y2K in a very special pheno hunters pack of 20 non-feminized seeds for the same price as our usual 13 seeds.

BUT!!!!! I saw something on the site, I wanted even more than the SS. But it wont be restocked, until next year!!!:wall::cuss::cuss:

Its a heavily worked Skunk #1 line, from 1985. 23% THC. I really want this one. Especially for breeding. Theres a reason Sk1, NL5, Haze, are in so many strains. I want to cross a Crickets and Cicada Pacific Northwest Hashplant x Puck/NL1 with this so bad, I cant stand it. Or the C&C Puck x Puck/NL1 BC2. And find a killer Male of this, and breed it to the best Relic Cough BX3 Femal I can find.

Genetics: Skunk #1 IBL
Variety: Hybrid
Avg. Flowering Time: 8 Weeks
Yield: Medium-High
Potency: High
More Information: Dipping into the seed vault, we combined two different vintage 80’s Skunk #1 lines into one. The male used in this cross comes from 80’s Super Sativa Seed Club stock that had been inbred and preserved over multiple generations by a collector friend. We obtained the seeds from him in rather rough condition, and while many did not germinate, an excellent selection of males and females did pull through and an outstanding pollen donor was selected.
The female chosen for this IBL came from a batch of, what we believe to be, extremely early Sensi Seeds stock that we received in a trade many years ago. There is a chance this line could actually be even older stock derived from Sacred Seeds genetics, since the envelope these seeds were stored in were simply labeled “1985 SS Skunk”. We do know that the original seeds were obtained by a gentleman who lived in Holland in the 80s before moving back to California with his collection of seeds which he then meticulously inbred. While we attempted to reach out and gain more information on the pedigree from the source, we have not been able to re-establish contact.
What is certain is that the mother chosen for this project is one of the finest Skunk #1 specimens we’ve ever seen. Growth rate was explosive and easily two to three times as rapid as any of the other plants from the same batch of seed. As expected, yields were equally impressive and with a bud density and resin production not typically seen in cultivars of this vintage.
The offspring of these two classic Skunk #1 lines open pandoras box of phenotypes. We’ve found everything from the sweet and citrusy California skunk, to the funky cheese phenos, to earthy oiled leather.
Structure is very uniform, with the classic towering single cola with long satellite limbs that orbit the main bud when grown naturally and un-topped. Flowering time is a typical 8 weeks, although for a much more heady experience you may choose to chop earlier. Yields and resin production are much improved over the Skunk #1 of yesteryear, and with potency coming in at 23%, this old skunk definitely has some new tricks.

They also have some other stuff, Id like to have. And about $65 usd a pack with shipping, thats pretty cheap.

It was the best of the seeds that I ran from them..yields were nice and but I found zero skunk in any of the six females..

There really never really was any of the strong Skunk smell, people are always after. There may be some plants that have a bit of a Skunky smell, and/or Catpiss ect, as many plants do. But the reeking stench of the original Skunk, was never in Sk1. Most of it was floral. Which I like.

a big red flag is they don't list which they where.
They do infer what they used.

They said they used genetics from the Year 2000, and also had a very old pack, that was marked SS, which they believe to be early Sensi Seeds. Either way, the genetics are the real stuff, and Ive seen grows of it, and it looks about as good as anything, though I know one cant tell by looks. And for $65 a pack. Its nothing if its junk.

But Lucky 13, seems to have an excellent reputation, and have been in business, for 14 years, under this name.
And for real, to me, the seeds are cheap as fuck. Many seeds I buy, are often, $200usd a pack, and I have no problem paying that, if its the genes I want, and they are the real thing. But this stuff is like $65usd a pack and this includes shipping. Plus in the Y2K SS. You get20 seeds. So 40 killer SS seeds, for about $130.

But a guy I follow on Instagram, has photos of it, and he says its just as he remembers the original SS. It looked so good, I had to have it.

But of all the research Ive done on this company. Ive not seen anyone say they sell bogus, or inferior genetics.

Skunk #1, is a Highly Underrated Strain, Buzz Wise. The best of it, with knock your head, clean off, and it has a huge smell/taste range. Loaded with Terpenes.

Theres a reason Sk1 is in a huge percentage, of most genetics today.

Its a crime, so many have let the genetics turn to crap. Same for several other strains, and companies. Some isnt their fault, as many got raided, and some lost genetics to fires.

For me, Id be happy with these old school strains. Not talking Landrace ect.

What was readily available, in the 80s-90s. And yes, I know SSSC, and others had Landrace/Heirloom.

Sensi NL5-NL5 x Haze-Sk1, Super Skunk-Black Domina. Nevils Hashplant, which Sensi just called, Hashplant-Ak47-White Widow-Kali Mist-White Russian-Kush-When it meant it was from the Kush Mountains-Silver Pearl-Early Pearl-Williams Wonder-Oregon Afghani- Afghani #1-Sensi Star-NL1-NL2-Early Bird.

All those are a good start, and I do have some of these old genes, and it is my main goal to get all of them, I can. Not interested in Cookies, and all the other Bakery types of names, though, some of them are very good.
