I have 3 of the "Home" brands I got from AMZ. 70 pints per day. I tested them and actually got what they said it would do. I have them on a shelf on constant drain to sink. 3 of these for my 20x30 work well to keep it in check…. Although, I am looking for a Quest 255 or similar. The 3 Home brands pull 19 amps collectively, while a single Quest pulls only 7 amps.
Thanks brother. I will pull the trigger.

Hmm... ok. I was just going to say that my Carrier 3 ton mini split pulls way more than those 3 Home units combined. But.. if your at 60-65 in late flower?..... then it should help. You may also find that you'll need a second unit. All grows are set up and react differently. I just wanted to state that my mini is doing a majority of the work.

Thanks again. I will start off with one and be mindful I might need a second one.

.... a bit of exaggeration there, but you know what I mean. The Home units will drip about 2-3 times a second, where the mini is a constant stream of condensate water.

I don't even use dehuyes until the room is full enough of biomass to create their own humidity..which is around week 6 of veg. , and up until then, I have a Portacool swamp cooler in there to keep the RH up. Then in flower, I have to turn one Home unit on, then the second, and then the 3rd. All on constant drain and on Turbo.

Thanks brother. Do you have a screenshot of a link for a dehumidifier that you think will work. There are just to many to choose from. Thanks in advance

I thought I wanted rec here in Oklahoma. But after hearing your concerns I am not sure. I want the system to work for everyone. Just seems to me that there has to be a happy medium where it works for everyone. I am curious to know what changes should be made to make it work for everyone.
It’s a unique situation there in OK, the chicken is coming before the egg in some aspects. When my state went rec you saw an increase in its prevalence for the industry but a much greater interest from the state bean counters.

Those familiar with walking the line should see things get better, but stay ahead or on top of the current game of accountability, at least as far as the state is concerned. IE those businesses settup with a database for their business, to track product inventory, medical and recreational sales/customers each separately had a much easier time dealing with the changing local rules and taxes while also seeing a much wider clientele.

It’s not all unicorns pissing rainbows either, and it’s going to get strange fast. Instead of getting nasty letters, you’ll want to show up to pay memberships dues and bring your best homemade baked goods for the next local small business development town hall/potluck.

You will need to evolve and find a niche spot while serving the same old clientele. Your gonna wake up and find Kroger, Walmart and the gas station across the street starting to distribute CBD products.

IE, and given this forum, one thing some shops around here are having great luck with that is “new” but Fred Flintsone could of implemented, is selling a lot of clones ready to plant.

You could always find them for many years, but I’m seeing them go like basil plants recently. You can grow recreational legally in counties here that don’t allow dispensaries (even though those counties have the supermarket CBD kiosks…). They dont take much to sell for $40-60 to people who walked in, and healthy ones sell themselves. One supplier at a local shop here spends an extra $1-2 per clone - uses healthy cuts with lots of lineage/breeder info, good nutes/light, and uses rapid rooter plugs and some purty decaled popsicle sticks (compared to competition) and he must be selling out 50-100 clones a week for the past 6 weeks (springtime helps too).

Do not buy the honeywell with the pump. We have one at work that works fine, so we ordered another. and it showed up with a crap pump, code E5 as soon as the bucket fills, so we returned it for another. SAME problem. It is a common problem now that i look at the reviews.

Hey okies. Hope everyone is doing well. I am having trouble keeping my humidity in check. I need a dehumidifier for a room that is 10x12. Does anyone have any suggestions. Have looked on Amazon just not sure how well they work. My humidity stays 60-65% and temps stay around 80.

That one in the link I posted does not have a pump… there was an option for it tho. This one is a drawer dump or constant drain option.

IDK man.... How much cheaper was it? I would have gotten the 4500 sq ft one. Bigger is always better, and it may not have to run 24/7 burning up your electric bill. Can you cancel/change your order?
Yes I can cancel. It has not shipped yet. I will go with the 4500 sq ft one. I plan on increasing the number of plants my next grow and getting the bigger one may save me headaches in the future. Thanks again.
