Obama asks Congress to go to war.

I think regardless what congress says he will carry out a strike. They wouldn't have put so much effort into a false flag attack if they aren't going to take military action.

i think he should be acting right about now, but him deciding to go to congress is a shrewd move.

first, you get to watch your GOP saviors trap themselves in a vote that will be held against them in 2016. second, when we decide to bomb the living shit out of them is fairly inconsequential.*

Personally I think invading any other country is a bad idea, however since assads regime is unleashing chemical warfare on its on people, we should put an end to it. I applaud Obama for doing the right thing and going to congress to declare war unlike Bush and his gang. Now we just gotta wait and see if they ACTUALLY decide to go to war or not... I'm thinking that congress is so biased and locked in a pissing contest its going to be tough to get an answer soon.

Congress passed a resolution in 2002 giving military intervention the okay to find WMD.. You don't remember that buck? I was only in 3 rd grade at the time but insure remember the outrage and talks of impeachment after we invade Iraq and found nothing. The only reason congress went through with the resolution is because Bush either lied about his "intelligence of WMD's" or he had a horrible horrible intelligence gathering team lol. And your right, we aren't going to invade Syria, we are just going to bomb their government infrastructure and support rebel troops..

Very true. A lot of republicans I know regret voting for bush, some learned after his first term, others didn't. On the other hand most republicans just turned a blind eye to the whole situation.
